Was playing 1/3 at Orleans 2 weeks ago (weekend of the 28th), a guy steps up to the table about to take a seat and loudly voices "who's the best player at this table?".
When the guy finally comes into view, it's none other than Randy Jensen. Takes a seat 2 to my left, and I instantly recognize him from my countless hours of watching televised poker back in the day.
I toss out a "well look who it is, the Dreamcrusher" to him.. we both get a laugh out of that, introduce ourselves to each other, etc.. He was in town playing a series of tourneys at Venetian that weekend for I believe the "Poker Grinders" Facebook group that a friend of his runs? Might be misquoting the name of that FB group.
We talked quite a bit over the next 1-2hrs. Randy said he's barely logged any hours playing in the last several years, but is putting serious consideration into a Vegas move soon.
He was a super nice guy, had a great table image... giving action, and being friendly all around. Look forward to bumping into him again during WSOP.
