simple yet deep statement. online poker was super fun back in the good ol days. now everybody is just straight up mad about everything. the only people having fun are the winners and they've secluded themselves with all the cash.. *closes door*

Jordan played night and day, and quickly blew the 50 grand.

Hey mom, I just blew 40g playing poker, can I have 50g so I can keep playing?

Sure honey.

Also I wanna drop out of high school,, I hate having to wake up in the morning and people telling me what to do.

Sure sweetie, whatever you want.

It's basically like Cartman and his mom but IRL.

I can sympathize with him.

The mother wanted her son to be a winner at all costs.

Jordan overestimated his skill and didn't want to bring shame for not winning and then went at all lengths to prove he is a winner, and lost it all ($50,000).

The real tragedy to this story is that 2 people's unrealistic emotions mentally pushed Jordan out of poker forever. He could've started from scratch and built up a roll or used proper bankroll management with the $50,000 stake.

I have a tough time believing this story is real, now that I look back on it.

"Hello, my name is Gabriel"

Naked breasts can defuse any situation.

Apparently he is a used office furniture salesperson. That's a hell of a downfall.

The game has changed so much since then but I'd still rate him favorite/+ev in a NLHE internet donkament against a random field of 2017 internet forum tards, even being rusty.

He was pretty good. Had leaks, but back then he wasn't someone you wanted to see at a final table. He was like LilHoldEm, where the only way to get him off your ass was hit back early and hard and make him realize that the pickings were softer elsewhere, so better hope he didn't have a hand when you decided to 'make your stand'.

No, it's that games like poker have a huge selection bias for persons on the Aspergers side of the Autism spectrum and you really see it manifest itself in comments. Only slightly less than a given chess forum.

Ahhhh, so it's important you let them know they have a disability or understand their behavior within a certain label/context instead of simply being inappropriate. Amusing

Good to know a guy on the internet thinks he might be a favorite against random internet forum posters.

But why defend his honor? Are you worried his feelings would be hurt? You've spent way more effort defending him than other people have pointing and laughing at the trainwreck.

Dont you dare put this clown in the same sentence as lilholdem

you gotta be trolling, the kid who lost 40k of his own cash then proceeded to lose 50k of his mothers cash is +ev in a random online mtt in 2017? comical.
