Someone's being very disingenuous here.
Jaclynn, the very first you mention of any sort of "settlement" / "offer" was this:
"An investigation then began by Human Resources for Rush Street Gaming and a man named Marco Leal. His first offer to me, in exchange for signing a release stating I would not speak about what occurred on the show, was to appear on Poker Night this coming August at Hard Rock, along with a $5000 “appearance fee” or, alternatively, to take a $7500 cash settlement."
But Nolan pasted an email you sent where you wrote:
"I am no longer comfortable sitting idle and acting as if these things did not happen. It has affected me personally and professionally. I deserve to be compensated for what I endured while taping the show - for the groping, the sexual harassment, the anti-Semitic remarks, etc. I would consider monetary compensation and/or paid seats on all future ladies and other mixed shows like Jessica gets (this time harassment free). This type of resolution would have to happen quickly, as I have no interest in dragging this out any longer. Please let me know as soon as possible whether you are interested in discussing a settlement so that I can proceed accordingly."
That's not the greatest of looks for you. Your blog makes it seem like they're the ones who initiated the idea of any compensation. That email you wrote to them clearly gives the impression that
you're the one initiating all that talk. There's a big difference, obviously: one gives the appearance of a corporate attempt to sweep dirt under the rug. The other has the feel of a shakedown. Maybe you and Nolan can both speak further to how all this compensation talk came about.
