Sorry if this has been talked about before, I didn't find anything really searching.
But I saw that Shulman said he might h"old a tournament for the players shut out of the 2009 WSOP Main Event"

What does he mean by that? Were there just people unable to play due to numbers, or does he mean specific players that have been banned or something?

On day 1d, there were several hundred players who were unable to play the Main Event because the event was sold out.

Ok, thanks.
The way it was written made me wonder if there were a handful of people who had been banned from Harrahs or the WSOP. Something like that.
