I don't see how all these stories about Ben being weird socially, unpopular in high school, and coming off as an ******* are relevant.
Not only do these accusations apply to probably 80% of online pros, they also have nothing to do with whether or not he does legit business.

I think ben is a good person deep down but was tired of people like doug (you guys know what i mean when i say "like doug") always getting the better end of the stick. Ben said in the pod that he always goes out by himself, so when someone agreed to go hangout with him but didnt come through, i can see how that deeply hurt bens feelings (i also wouldve said something like "no, its okay man" even if my feelings were badly hurt). I can understand both of their POVs (on the non-business side. The business side is black and white. A deal is a deal, Doug obviously got screwed)

The ulterior motives are sort of transparent. The tone you take in that video is similar to the 'bad reg' tag for Mercier. Not the same situation at all but you are being very coy and during the 30 minute video you are clearly firing shots whilst claiming you just want to tell your side of the story.

It sucks that this guy screwed you over Doug. But it's just one of those formative life experiences that make you more streetwise, just like the run in with Brad Booth. This **** happens. Look at where you are now, Ryan + Donger + Coletta have your back dawg. You have your cadre now.

I think we can all see now what the true cause of this issue was (the clue was in the video!)

Doug is a huge drama queen and Ben sounds like a huge prick from stories above.

I'm presuming that ben just screwed up over intentional scamming b/c it's very common for most personalities in the world to agree to that without asking the other guy first. However, wcg has a legit beef with the lack of coaching return/attempt to make up for it/apology. (I do not know what would be acceptable to all involved (three) at this point but it doesn't seem like an attempt was even made or even an apology which is the bare minimum)

Everything else is standard petty stupid crap.

So whats this uber software that cant be talked about that Ben has (11.55 in the video). Is it the fabled PLO dream machine?

To "AP" (horse story guy) and anyone else.. I do feel I've run good, but I've had so many incredibly positive experiences meeting and mutually opening up to new people in poker (and outside). I run good in that I rarely experienced scammers/psychos etc, but made some very good friends, met interesting/smart/fun ppl and I would highlyyyy recommend people to be more open to this if they aren't already, and AP to not close up just because of this bad/weird experience. I'd say a key moment for me was when I randomly messaged a 2p2er I never spoke to or met or knew anything about during a downswing for some coaching (funnily enough), and asked if I could go to his house- he said yes the next day I flew there and was awesome experience, will never forget

I am by no means a huge fan of Doug, but I just watched his entire explanation video. He came off genuinely and made Ben seem emotionally unstable. It would seem far fetched for Doug to make up comments such as "I hate people who look like you." Ben has admitted to the coaching deal falling through and clearly he should have sought permission from his partner prior to engaging with Doug. Ironically, he then accuses Doug of acting in a unilateral fashion. Whether or not Doug made money from pieces and action is irrelevant when it comes to the coaching deal, where he was clearly taken for a ride (and no, not on horseback). At this point, unless Ben can respond and clarify/correct things that Doug has said, it is not looking good for him.

But Doug called Ben a psychopath and "everyone knows you are a scumbag".

I hate people like you and people who look like you are veryyyy different, neither are appropriate but first would make more sense given context. Getting frustrated over him boasting to be the best/arrogant would make more sense to say he hates people like Doug..

I think the very blatant mention of insider software Ben uses is actually a lot bigger of a deal than people realize. It is possible that most of the top guys got to where they are by utilizing private software that helps them in how to play different situations far better than almost anyone can do from traditional methods. Would like to see Doug expand but we know how people who make money off secrets usually are about protecting them. In this case, perhaps he can elaborate on what software he believes Ben has and why he is obligated to take the demand of some third party person to not do coaching.
