WAT? Does that mean they werent really paying him that much if he can just walk away that easily? Or maybe his deal restricted him from paying the stakes he wanted. 500/1k on on FTP? yayayay

um I wouldn't rule out him being used to market FTP but I think the real issue here is an insane degen maybe isn't the best sponsor for a poker site, especially when PS is going to try everything they can to get back into the US market in the next few years.

My guess would be that he would have to play a certain number of live events each year and have to do media stuff which he doesn't like. If he was going to be a FTP pro why would they cancel his contract now and not just switch him over once FTP re-opens?

He is too much of a degenerate and i would love to see him back at PS or FTP but he could possibly be building a roll on Euro sites to bring back to FTP to have another shot at the 500/1k PLO

Never thought Isildur fit in with the rest of the approach pokerstars take for marketing.
He's definitely a better fit with the FTP brand if they don't decide to build a marketing clone of PS.

Hmm.. I could see them sending him over to Full Tilt. Alot of the US red pros couldn't come back until the legalization. Blom would be the perfect ROW player to represent FT by its reopen in november. Or maybe Blom just wants to be a free agent for when FT comes back so he can play the big games again.
