Sure it will bring in noobz but it would also bring in noobz who want to play a skill game vs. noobz who want to play a lottery.

I have no idea who "we" are here but I have to comment on this opinion or statement, what ever it is.
When playing a game casually, which is what the majority of players in any game do, you think they want to play the best and get beat all the time because the best player should win?
Have you ever been good at, say, a 3D shooter, FIFA , Madden NHL or what those videogames are called? Ever experienced a lot of people getting completely crushed in those games and thought it was fun?
That's somewhat the line that online poker is going to. He goes online, wants to play hands, and somehow never gets the best hand and get valuetowned to death again and again. Very few will find this enjoyable
People want a shot to win, be it luck or skill - that's why lotteries are popular even everyone knows they expect to lose in it.
Poker is the same way. It isn't like chess. Chess doesn't attract all kind of people, if someone plays chess against another that knows what they're doing and easily beats them - it'll be very demotivating for most.
