I've personally never tank-stalled in live poker (I have in online a few times), but only playing local casino tournaments, with the average field between 100-600, I guess tank-stalling doesn't have the same effect as in a 1,000+ field like at the WSOP.

The way I look at it, the faster I go, the more hands I see, the more chance for me to get a good hand to double up with.

Plus you get +EV Karma when you just play the game at the normal pace.

These players that take exactly 10 seconds before folding preflop are hilarious. I get it, you don't want me to get a read on you.

Haha I like this.

I actually don't get this. If a player knows he's going to fold, what difference does it make if he does it instantly or if he counts 10 Mississippis in his head? I get balancing your time for hands you DO play, or MIGHT play.

But I'd rather not derail this thread with that discussion, as it has happened in many other threads on 2+2.

Yes that is also toxic and a poison to the game that needs to be addressed. I only recently moved to regular tables online and the carry on there is sickening.
