View: 20bb minimum tables are destroying the profitability of online poker.

Fish dont sit at the 50bb min tables often and 20bb min tables are infested with shortstackers. So if you want to play on a soft table you have to play with shortstackers which ruin your edge against the fish because you cant isolate without getting shoved on.

I propose we start a petition to get rid of 20bb minimum buyin tables and raise the minimum buyin to 35bb or higher. Post in this thread to show your support!

40 tables. 30 are ss infested. pros game select the other 10. then the other pros have to. players are obviously forced to get much better just to maintain their winrate. all of this could be avoided by just raising the minimum.

i'm not arguing for or against and i'm not saying that people shouldn't just try to get better. i'm just saying what you said is very dumb.

If you want real poker profits play tournament, lots of fish forced to play deep to start and later you get to play against bad shortstackers.

Learn how to play a short stack.

The biggest bite out of the short-stack edge comes not from big stacks playing well but from other short-stackers.

Not a chance. Sites love short stacked rake machines.
