ESPN Fame 100 that they released a few weeks ago ranted C Ronaldo as the #1 most popular athlete in the world. Neymar was #6 and Bolt not far behind at #8

I had never heard of Kevin Hart until I watched the last PSC stream, and if I didn't like watching poker i'd still not have heard of him. TBH I think his involvement will attract more (non US) poker players to him rather than KH fans to poker. Bolt seems a better candidate for their (presumed) objective.

The relevance is that it is much cheaper to sponsor Bolt than it is to sponsor Neymar/Ronaldo ?

This is why its +EV for Stars.

I also expect there to be a rake race or something.

I can already see the marketing now ... "Bolt to the top!"

Chris Rock is playing 7 nights in the UK alone, compared with Hart's 3.

He's really not as big as you think he is outside of the US.

You said not that popular.. and I proved to you that he is and now you are changing it to say that he is not huge.

There are not that many comedians doing stadium tours on multiple continents while releasing several movies per year. Also, ticket prices matter and Hart is supposedly the highest paid comedian in the world according to google.

I would probably take Russell Peters ahead of any other comedian if I were a poker site though.

Of course Kevin Hart has fans outside the US, every relevant US comedian does. He's no where near as well known by the general public as Bolt is though, which I believe is the point people have been making.

I mean popular for stand-up comics.. there are very few that become popular enough to do stadium tours. Of course being popular does not mean they are the best.

Russell Peters: Indian comedian from Canada known for his material on ethnic differences. If you are interested, look for russell peters chinese soccer team on youtube.

well with Indian winning their first bracelet a few days ago now would be the time to try and tap in. A cricket player signing for Pokerstars would be huge in India. The sport could explode there
