Here's an interesting note. Scandal watchers recall that Mookman was given a list that included a bunch of account names, some real some fake. This list was never released or even addressed by the KGC. A lot was made of the fake names and whether they started out as real and were covered up, etc.

Around Christmas of 2006, 3 of those accounts came into action. Thomas King, Jason DelMonte and Eli Argo. The interesting thing is what these accounts were apparently used for. They show coincident logins with the superuser tool in December of that year. Each account played a few sessions, then a screenname change is made, rinse repeat. For example, on this account:

Eli Argo 2561631 / 604 E 23rd St, Grand Rapids, MI 70469

Cheating screenname Flammer2 fires up on 12/12/06 with the last superuser login on the 16th. The screenname is changed to KidXmas on the 18th and run to the 22nd when it is changed to benzme, which runs thru Christmas and is never seen again (in the superuser logins).

The appearance is they made this account for Christmas shopping with someone getting a bowtied bavarian automobile from St. Russ. Transfers made from these accounts went to Freddy Deeb, Hertzel Zalewsky and Bonnie Leinhos totalling just under $400,000. No cash withdrawals were made on the account. What the individuals above did with the money is open for speculation, but Deeb clearly converted online UB money into casino cash and vice versa.

My guess is these are legitimate fake named accounts.

deeb comes into commerce to play plo with us once in awhile..................gonna be hard to bite my tongue on this cause he's a fish but *** this guy.....................is hertzel zalewsky called "herschel"? old ugly short guy who plays big plo cash games? he comes to commerce too and always seemed like a scumbag to me says he has all this money but cries like a baby when he loses guess we know how he got his money

Quick name correction on this, things are zooming here. Transfers from the named account above did not go to Zalewsky. Instead they went to Mickey Joe Casey (TXFATMAN). Carry on. Casey also received $5k from the -Fred- account released by brainwashdodo back in the day.

Wanted to follow up on the Christmas accounts as they are really interesting and will probably be mentioned in the film.

In the post above, the three fake accounts discussed wind up with 8 different screennames in the month of December, 2006.

2561615 - Jason DelMonte (2Fasttttt, SweeetNSour, slug2)
2561621 - Thomas King (DooMe, humster)
2561631 - Eli Argo (Benzme, flammer2, KidXmas)

Some additional information:

All three accounts are partially funded by a gentleman named Christian Leinhos, a German married to Vegas longtimer Bonnie Damiano. Chris, like so many UB players had a bunch of accounts including the screennames All_In_Dude, MrOvertight and Chris Leinhos. He starts all three cheating accounts off with ten thousand dollar transfers each.

The -Fred- account funds 2561615 for 10k and another individual working for Hamilton (nameless as we seek a conversation) funded 2561621 for 20k.

In addition to the above, transfers out went to RussHamilton, Bet21 Admin (an account listed in the UB database as Billy Baxter), and two folks fairly well known around these parts, Travis and Lauren Makar. Travis received 35k and Lauren got 45k. Nice Christmas tree.

An interesting side note, the next month was like super-Christmas as all the Excapsa shareholders got giant checks from a $26M disbursement in liquidation. In Hamilton's case that share distribution was probably just under 600k and for someone likely to hold a top share block like Greg Pierson, that distribution was more than 1.7M dollars. We figure since Travis Makar isn't releasing much information with real value, we might as well.

These three accounts were different from the normal superuser, built with a specific purpose and discarded when complete. They are created on 11/15/2006, the account numbers within 10 digits. The timeframe is several weeks after UIGEA when the founders of UltimateBet take the company private again. The coming year is a question mark with the combination of two major US facing sites but the Ultimate Blackjack Tour is an early casualty after a successful first season of televised events. Hamilton visits Antigua at the end of October, probably to formalize corporate paperwork for Blast Off and eWorld Holdings. He is a dedicated fraudster as Auditmonster2 and superuser logins originate from Antiguan IPs during the entire trip.

Based on the reported refund total, "normal" cheating averages out to ~$400k per month over five years. In those two weeks preceding Christmas, the new accounts take $772,000 out in addition to regular superuser screennames like FlipFlop2 (Ron Saccavino) still in operation. Most of the extra money goes to one of Freddy Deeb's many accounts for conversion into cash or distribution to other players.

It is likely the accounts took more as one screenname; tonyspilotro never shows up on the KGC final list even though 2+2 poster Trambopoline showed clear evidence it belonged. According to Trambo, the first appearance of the Chicago mobster is 12/28/2006 coordinating with the last login of screenname slug2 under the DelMonte account. Trambo showed that screenname winning ~100k at a 102.6bb/100 clip. Whether the other three continued into January is unknown. High stakes players got a double whammy shortly after when Neteller locked up US deposits.

Coincidentally, UltimateBet released a software update in mid-November restricting hand history capture to under five at a time and only to seated players. It appears that some significant portion of the 10% Hand History loss in the RAID drive failure are from this period. It isn't technologically impossible but given the nature of RAID, it is unlikely and probably another piece of circumstantial evidence against Pierson's tech-lackey, Uri Kozai. It might be a stretch to say they knew a lot of cheating was going to occur and purposely made HH mining harder, but the result is fewer HHs exist from this period of time.

One additional note, the individual we are attempting a dialog with and who funded one of the accounts is a "world champion", so there's your tease.

My bad if you stated this in the past, but were you a former employee of UB/AP? Or have you just been in contact with former employees?

Never worked with any of these folks. We have a blend of source material from real humans to the amazing crowdsourcing done here on 2+2 to corporate documents and more. Very few former employees have had much to say about the situation.

Very interesting... Can't wait to see it. In your opinion, do you think there will ever be a way to convict any of these bastards and retrieve our funds back someday?

In the leaked UB database, the account Bet21 Admin has Bill Baxter's name, but Russ Hamilton's pokerchamp94@cox.net email address. The address, 1010 Palms, LV, NV 89134 appears to be a fictional composite as there is a 1010 Palm St, but the zip is 89104 and it is a vacant lot. Mr. Baxter said the account was created without his knowledge or participation.
