Seriously tho, looks excellent and professionally made, really well done guys, look forward to being able to watch the whole thing.

However just my 2 cents, I think the trailer should be simplified - I followed the whole scandal at the time so I remember most things that happened, but I still found the trailer a little hard to follow just cos it zipped by so quickly. As someone else mentioned, I think you should start with a big clear, statement saying what happened ('Poker players were cheated out of x amount by y method') before going into the individual snippets (and also have subtitles for some parts).

Trambo rocks the fro, no doubt. I was so grateful he agreed to do the project. He played such an enormous role in helping players get any money at all from UB but he is a super low key guy.

You are so the man. It is very importand to keep talking about what happened at UB. And i really hope one day we will know all the facts. As i said before there is NOT a chance in the world that Russ was the main man behind this all. It was imo used what is often done in cases like these, The Blame put on one person. I wouldnt be suprised at all if the dirt comes out one day that we will all be in for a real shock. This is just opinion though i have no idea what really happened its just my gut feeling.

Nice timing, we just wrapped the 2nd Las Vegas shoot and I'm heading home to start wading through the hours of footage and to begin cutting the film together. This was a fascinating trip though I don't want to tease it too much. We are on track and have received some unexpected help in pulling together connections I probably was not going to get otherwise. When we get close to some rough cuts, I should be able to dish a bit more. Thanks again to everyone who helped make these last couple shoots possible.

An update. Last year we pushed our shoots into late Oct/early Nov which altered the schedule. I thought the holidays would be a grind with a fairly quick release. Instead, people who would not previously chat with us have stepped up, providing new information. Also, we received a source of data information concerning player refunds and network traffic of the superusers. This has changed some of the editorial in the film. Additionally, Hamilton's computer assistant, Travis Makar has again put out a small amount of info while showing (photos of 3 ring binders documenting accounts associated with the fraud, hard drives supposedly holding HHs, etc) he has much more, but is unwilling to release.

Internally, we have discussed a few options and have decided on a new course of action. Because we are receiving new data that changes content, we need to pursue this to a decent conclusion. New names not mentioned in the original investigations are involved and need to be vetted. My guess is some folks realized they might not be portrayed favorably and are now attempting to help. Our new plan is to target the WSOP for a general release date, though it may be sooner. Believe me, I know how this sounds (so typical) but my main master is accuracy.

We are seeking player HHs from between 2003-2007 to validate our information. By way of example, during the 2006 Aruba event (9/27) it appears that primarily one SU acct was at work from the island (reimburseme). Funny you should mention FD, he controlled a lot more accounts with a lot more money flow than the -Fred- transactions show. SlowSlow, 1Hurricane and halawe are three additional accounts with interesting money movement and the hothot account was a big winner. Those are accounts not mentioned much (if at all) in the original threads.

Oh wow, very interesting. I haven't kept up with the story over the past ~2 years as much as I should have, but has anyone investigated his '06 Aruba win? I was always suspicious of him and tried to find the video of the final table but had no luck finding it online. I'm curious to see if there is any suspicious activity relating to dealers, camera crew, anything really.

How is Freddy Deeb invloved in this? never knew he was affiliated with Russ Hamilton or UB. Thanks

I only brought up his name because, it is known a super user account won a satellite to '06 Aruba Poker Classic, EG's post about 1 account playing from the island during that tournament, and Deeb winning the Main Event. Deeb had prior connections to UB and Russ but I can't remember if he was a team pro before, or after his win.

Now EG's latest post makes things even more interesting.
