Or maybe he was just a little drunk.
But he should definitely quit on UB after this, IMO.
This is too bad for internet poker in general, what happens in this company.

Yeah but chat says he knows, or he's a moron for giving a crap when something like that happens...

I'm not an attorney, but this isn't a good lawsuit. It's just PH being his douche bag self, getting helped out by his site.

Phil Hellmuth to UB = can i get insurance!!!
The way the hand was played and the chat almost seems like it wasn't Phil playing. However either way he has a lot of explaining to do. I used to think Phil was one of the more honest players but that has certainly changed since he stuck with UB and now this.
The way the hand was played almost seemed like the player was building a pot knowing it was going to be shipped to them. It's hard to believe Phil would be this dumb. The only way i will have any respect for him again is if he leaves UB immediately.

Re: Ultimate Bet WTF? (Hellmuth has worse hand, but pot gets shipped to him anyway)
C’mon guys, it is obvious what is happening here. I believe I saw this in an episode of Law and Order.
This is obviously Greg Pierson playing on Phil's account trying to suck him into the mess. No way for a glitch like this to just "happen," let alone happen to the Face of the site. Yes it is possible, but on AP/UB it is probable. Who else would have such the power to do something like this besides a principal founder, and inside security expert?
I think there are 3 scenarios to this hand history:
1. Hand History is faked- Didn't read every single post, was the HH ever disproved?
2. Phil Helmuth was in on the cheating in some fashion, either having knowledge or openly participating. His good friends Russ Hamilton and Greg Pierson are in on it, don’t you think they might have told him about it?
3. Greg Pierson is the man behind the curtains of everything. Since when does an affiliate like Russ Hamilton get access to the type of places that would be needed to run such a scam?
I just read an article that 12 employees had been laid off from Iovation. Someone in the OR area should try to get in contact with them and see what they know about Greg Pierson. If TwoPlusTwo is filled with so-called "ballers," it is time to pool money together, get a private investigator and hire a PR firm to absolutely destroy Iovation since their flagship installation was a complete fraud, and anyone investing in such a company should definitly know about it.

That would only be possible if the programmers were completely retarded... oh wait. Cereusly though, I doubt this is a stack size issue. Stack sizes should have absolutely nothing to do with determining who wins a pot. Now it does look like part of the logic was functioning correctly as PH mucks his hand, then collects, *shrug*
This whole thing is just nuts on so many levels. I mean presumably this isn't a bug that has existed for a long time, so the question is, why would they be tweaking the most basic and probably some of the oldest, presumably static code on the server? You would have to be insane (or completely incompetent) to be making modifications to the Holdem hand ranking/pot shipping code without a very, very good reason. Doubly so without doing extensive QA. I guess nothing should surprise us with these clowns though.

Re: Ultimate Bet WTF? (Hellmuth has worse hand, but pot gets shipped to him anyway)
Has anyone independent of the situation requested this hand history? It would show the winning hand right?

Screenshot of hand history
I don't know if you can actually request the hand history for other players

wonder if someone was tampering with the deal and induced a bug that displayd one set of cards but used another to determine the winner.

Also if you look at tableratings you can see that PH wins the hand even though he mucks his hand.
Could be a coincidence ....but.....
