From what I have heard through the rumor mill, he discovered that there was an internal security breach which allowed certain players to see hole cards and that people who were insiders at the company exploited that to steal money from people.
He apparently threatened to expose them but apparently there is going to be a tv show which details this anyway, so UB fired him. Their official reason was that they did not want to sponsor someone who flat calls TTwith 15bbs, but I think that is a coverup.
