Looks standard to me....at first. Then I started reading it futher on and youll see it pretty much says, if you win a uboc and bad mouth ub publicly they have the right to take your prize away, as well as if ub goes bankrupt your out of luck(why would they put that in there?). Plus if the U.S. says u cant have the $$ because poker is illegal, gl with that too, but yet says they will take taxes out of the mtt winnings, which I doubt. WTF??? Craziest terms and conditions ive ever read.


18. UltimateBet® may cancel or terminate the UBOC and/or may cancel or terminate the awarding of any Prize(s), and cease distribution of any outstanding Prize if:

a) A Prize winner fails to comply with his or her obligations toward UltimateBet®, including any and all provisions of the Rules or any other obligations, rules, terms, and conditions on www.ultimatebet.com or www.ultimatebet.net (collectively, the "Site"), and/or any other obligations, rules, terms, and conditions in any contract or agreement contemplated by the Rules;

b) A Prize winner commits embezzlement or theft against or from UltimateBet®, commits any public act of disrepute, publicly disparages UltimateBet®, or commits any other act that diminishes or that may diminish the value of UltimateBet® or any one or more of its brands;


UltimateBet® dissolves, becomes insolvent, or is subject to a bankruptcy proceeding, whether voluntary or involuntary, that is not dismissed within 30 days of initiation, or UltimateBet® makes an assignment for the benefit of its creditors or a receiver, liquidator, administrator, or trustee is appointed for or in respect of UltimateBet®’s affairs, or any analogous procedure is initiated and not dismissed within 30 days of initiation; and/or

UltimateBet® is ordered by a competent judicial or governmental authority to discontinue the acceptance of business from United States residents.


19. At any time, UltimateBet® may, and retains the right to, permanently cancel or terminate, at its sole and absolute discretion, the award or payment of any Prize, and to cease distribution of any outstanding Prize to any Prize winner.

20. In the event of any termination under any of the circumstances set forth herein, UltimateBet® is hereby and the same shall be under no legal obligation to provide any further payment to Participants, Prize winners, and/or any other party, whether in the form of liquidated damages or otherwise

Umm, point 19 about "sole and absolute discretion" alarmed me the most.

I just find it shocking that if u win a uboc, then go on a forum and say ub sucks, they can take away your prize winnings becuase of a tiny hidden terms and conditions.

It sounds to me like a sweepstakes terms and conditions where they give away free prizes, not a poker tournament you pay for. I dont see how company can take away your winnings that your paid to enter for because you are critical of their site, regardless if do it to someone or not the fact that they put it in their terms says enough.

2. take the fundage and splash the pot with it in a UB cash game where PH has one pair and beats 3 kings. Ship the whole load to one pair so obv imo.

3. take the prizepool and offer it to BLAGOVICH for the open Obama senate
