Re: The UB Scandal Continues

I giggle whenever UB sends me an email or calls me to deposit on their site again.

Yea, right.

I hope that 60 Minutes will add personnel to the story, with what Nat brought out during the night. If the Justice dept makes a move on Russ Hamilton/UB, the timing of their story will have to be bumped up.

I am certainly reading and I have contributed to this thread and the other and will continue as it is relevant but it seems most of the work here has been done.
Beanie, i at least give you credit for finally realizing what all the evidence entails. Its hard to admit people who are your friends are really responsible for stealing on this level. I do not expect you to hand deliver russ or anything, but can you tell us if hes aware of this thread? Is he still in the country? You have a group of poker friends that are all in the know. Surely there is something productive that you can contribute to this situation. One time beanie!

Re: The UB Scandal Continues

I had a dream last night of congress calling Annie Duke back and doing her like Rapheal Palmero...

I wonder if she perjured herself with her testimony before congress?

Her testimony had nothing to do with cheating. It was moreso on the luck:skill ratio of poker.

It has been a few days since we spoke. I assume he is aware of it, but I do not know this for fact.

I live in Minnesota. My friends are mostly onliners. So sadly I don't think there is much help that I can provide.

Like most people I would assume this has gained a fair amount of legal attention at this point. So I am comfortable letting them do their job.

Care to share what he has said about this whole situation?

Were/are you assisting him in covering up his name from the ordeal?

This is just my opinion, but here it is. Now isnt the time to indict beanie or anyone else, we have solid evidence against one person. once he falls whoever else responsible will fall as well. I think russ is the ring leader in the entire thing. also, i remember beanie from like 2003 till now and its fair to say that he had success on all sites. But i wont completely rule out anything anymore.

If there is anything I can do to help, get anything organized, let me know. ps--vizer, wanna share that juicy gossip if Nat gives it up?
I think you should just withdraw whatever money you have on the site. Besides not paying them rake and sending them a message - the fact these scammers have your contact info and can monitor your chat/holecards, you'd be doing yourself a disservice and probably just look like every other raving lunatic to the players.

Re: The UB Scandal Continues

This is an important question that has yet to be asked.

Nat, how robust is the information coming from the whistleblower? Did he/she provide you with screenshots or other verifiable data, or did he just tell you this stuff? Can you verify that he/she works or worked for UB?

This is important because if UB wanted to discredit the efforts of the public investigation of the cheating scandal, pumping in false information that could later be disproved would be a great way to do it. We all trust that you are legit, but how can we be sure that your anonymous informer is on the up and up.

EDIT: Also, without verifiable proof to back up some of the info you've released, UB could take a stance of plausible denial and claim that it's just your word against theirs. That argument might not hold much weight here, but it would hold weight with tv advertisers, paid sponsors, etc.

Nat

Did you only get the name on those 3 accounts or did you get any other names/addresses?

Any of them in Minnesota?
