Wow, a year sure flies – looks like there's only a month left to go on the Staples brother Bill Perkins prop bet!

They really seem to have hit their strides after pairing up with a trainer who helped them set up a diet and exercise plan that they've stuck with - and look at Jaime now!
Some other highlights was able to find:
A sample meal ...
June
Poker seems to be going well – here's Jaime on a trip to PSC Barcelona ... nice going Jaime!
August
Jaime spent Valentine's Day on a romantic Roman holiday with the new love of his life – and we're not not talking about the pizza
February
And twitch streaming appears to be going well as well - congrats to Jaime for winning Streamer of the Year!
February
Quite an incredible accomplishment to lose so much weight - the lifestyle changes this prop bet was calling for were substantial ...
- had to eat healthy and exercise regularly, which a lot of us find hard to do
- had to do so with a net calorie deficit, after being in a net surplus for years, which must have taken a tremendous amount of will-power
- he may have quit smoking too?
Perhaps the monetary motivation was a pretty huge piece of the puzzle though, if it was like getting paid to make exercising as much of a priority as playing poker and streaming for the year? It seems like so many of us struggle to make health a priority when there's more interesting things to do like stare at Bitcoin graphs all day
Still, maybe Jaime's journey shows what's possible, if one is able to tap into a motivator that succeeds in lighting a spark under us? Am good about eating healthy, but can get pretty lazy about staying fit when it's cold and dark out in the Wintertime. Have been trying to ask myself stuff like, if someone offered me $100k to ride my exercise bike for 30 minutes every day during the winter, would that make a difference? Then would find myself wondering stuff like is staying fit not priceless – so maybe imaginary money shouldn't be needed as an incentive to stay active in the wintertime at all? Have been pondering these sorts of things while lounging around on the couch lol - it feels like there's a lesson in there that all of us may be able to learn from, but perhaps someone else may better be able to express the universal takeaway that we all may be able to learn from?
Anyways - guess after this bet is wrapped up, there'll be the task of switching into maintenance mode for Jaime. This year he learned the tools needed to lose weight - so hopefully after sticking with the plan for a whole year, finding a middle ground somewhere between where he was before to where he is now that he'll be able to stick with for life will feel like a walk in the park?
And here's some updates for Matt
Maybe with is prop bet winnings, he'll be able to get help from their trainer with losing all the weight he gained this past year?
Still 1 month and something like 15lbs difference left to go, but it must feel awesome to be so close to reaching such a huge goal – GL Jaime and Matt, and congrats!!
