look at the link for complete protein, it shows how much of each amino acid is needed per day and then shows how much of those amino acids are provided by a 2500calorie diet of solely potatoes. that provides about double the amount of each amino acid and its only about 50g of protein.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complete_protein
Moving the goalpoast about 100ft I see I'm glad that you agree with my stance though, that 35g of protein isn't enough per day (and decided to up your recommendation by 50%+). So I guess we're on the same side actually: that the diet you suggested, which I laughed at, was bad.

Diet drinks are loaded with deceptively sweet artificial sweeteners, which, researchers say, trick the metabolism into thinking sugar is on its way, spike insulin levels, and shift the body from a fat-burning to a fat-storing state. While diet drinks are calorie-free, they're also nutrition-free.
https://www.yahoo.com/beauty/5-ways-...143733066.html
Your yahoo article is garbage. The "research" it cites is a correlational study saying that people who drink a lot of diet soda are fatter than those who do not drink a lot of diet soda. This means nothing. It does not mean that diet soda makes you fat. Diet sodas do not spike insulin, this has been shown over and over again in research (see below). Show me a single cited study showing that diet soda spikes insulin. (Before you google your brains out: You can't)

For what it's worth (not ****ing much) I've lost over 20lbs so far this year drinking a gallon of diet soda a day. No joke. A gallon a day. 20lbs+. As someone actually active in the world of fitness I know dozens of other people who consume large amounts of diet sodas every day and get in amazing shape. I don't think this is a valid argument though, but just saying. Lol @ your conclusions.

Why did we even get here? Little Staples should not be drinking ****ing diet sodas. He should be drinking sodas. Big Staples is fine to have as much diet soda he wants. Period. JFC this is the most basic thing ever. Total energy intake, ****ing heard of it?

edit: Actually, don't even bother, blocking you. You're a mongrel.

wtf is a 3rd breakfast? u serious? Btw carbs is what made jaime fat in the first place and you advocate him eating carbs with a little bit of protein each day all day? You clearly do not know how to lose fat...

you think he gained all that weight eating plain oatmeal? i doubt it buddy. ive never been fat. i know how to get fat though, eat a bunch of doughnuts and cake. eat fibrous carbs to lose weight.

1/2 cup of oatmeal and a banana will fill you up and its about 250 cals. the key to losing weight is to eat low calorie foods that will also fill you up. get the best bang for your buck so to speak. how do you do that? fibrous carbs. otherwise its going to be impossible for anyone to stick to their diet fighting intense cravings.

has anyone noticed that the longer you go in between meals and the hungrier you are the more you crave bad fattening foods like doughnuts or burritos?? eat before you get hungry eat often and eat fibrous carbs so you stay fuller longer.

just google losing weight eating carbs and you'll find plenty of online articles that agree with me. there's more than one way to skin a cat!

Mentioned in staplers thread but they should really focus on this and put the poker and streaming on hold for a while. Basically zero chance they make 75k in a year streaming plus the quality of life in general is way better in some sort of shape.

Have been enjoying Jaime's daily blogs - guess there's the chance to watch someone try to tackle some big life changes ... and then there's also been that lovely family time, sightseeing around Vienna with Mom and Dad, and their brother.

Guess the blogs are around 10 minutes long though, so maybe some people might not have the time to check out each one every day? Yesterday's had a couple of interesting updates though:
  • Jaime's lost 11lbs so far (not an official weigh in number)
  • he's trying to quit smoking as well - and something's giving him withdrawal symptoms (@9:20)

Lots of words of support and encouragement in the comments section - that was really nice to see

So you have insider info that he makes 6250$ / month from subs and donos. Probably just punts the stars cash back to the mtt community tbh. Dont know how much he makes from poker but last year his best monht was ~3k and he had like 3 winning months. Most likely not more that that.

He's a stars pro. They haven't signed a winning player in many many many years, even if that.

He probably uses the sub money for food/rent, and the stars money, as you suggested, to just punt daily.

He said on stream 500-600 the other day. I have to say I was surprised it was so few, but then Tonkaaaa said just taking a couple of weeks off saw his subs drop from 1500 to less than 1000.

But who knows how many he had when he was streaming every day.

Because you don't really get much for your sub on twitch, it seems that sub numbers can change very quickly. I have heard other twitch casters say that just going to one of these events like PACs for a week and they lose crazy numbers of subs.

And the skinnystapler makes nowhere near 75k in a year. So he really needs to go on that cheeseburger and steroids diet.

You get ~2.50$ per sub and the bigger streamers in video games can get their rates bumped up to 3+.

I'm not at all surprised he only has 500. Don't think poker channels average anywhere near the sub counts as the more popular video game formats.

No clue what his stars sponsorship deal is setup as.

I believe he pays out several $1000s a month for his YouTube video editors to make highlights, thumbnails etc and so far that channel hardly generates any revenue i.e. I would guess all of his twitch revenue is offset with the YouTube costs.

His stars sponsorship must be pretty damn good.

Like pretty much EVERYONE else who speculates about what sponsorship "pays out" I have nothing but speculations

BUT

I would wager they make way less than most speculators think they do.
ANd i mean wayyyyyy less.

He seriously had 3 winnings months last year? I mean, mtt variance is brutal, but he must have quite a loss rate if that's the case.

The quote in the most recent video about "not worrying about calories because Ketosis" is hard to hear. He seems unwilling to change his distorted views that got him into this position to begin with. Hopefully whoever he chooses as a coach is able to help him understand the super simple concept of a caloric deficit.

And Matt needs to stop walking everywhere with Jamie. That kid needs to be taped to a chair and spoon fed icing.

Saw this comment under one of Jaime's vlogs: (see last paragraph)

Guess there may be quite a bit of side-betting going on?
The Twitch Streamboat Quote

Inb4 Jaime is sand-bagging to get side bets in.

In "reality" this bet isn't even hard to accomplish with some determination and fitness knowledge. It's the psyche of the brothers and their habits which, ldo, make it hard.

Jaime should book extra action, GET THE ****ING COACH JFC TIME IS TICKING, and then collect$$$$$$

Booking extra action also obv increases his incentive so Jaime should try to get that done. I guess bettors for this exact reason would be unlikely to want to get extra action directly from Jaime though, and instead choose other people for it

PokerShares has them at 9,00 for a win and 1,08 to lose.

They could make so much money from this if they really put the effort in. 150k from the main bet, put 1k each on that win and some sidebets allso. But yeah I know they make way more from subs and donos.

Jaime says that he's not allowed to do this. Probably as per his terms with Perkins.
