lol @ perky and assuming odds, probably its gonna be the first sidebet he wins.

and i think the fair odds would be even more, they have like 150-200 lbs of a difference, that's a lot and Matty Ice has to do some really unhealthy things to gain 60-70 lbs in a year, and meanwhile in the same household Jaime has to do the healthy version of the bet.

3k vs 500k would be more realistic, but they know.

The $3k's kind of a low - guess if a higher amount was at risk like $10k it might have provided more motivation ... wonder if maybe Jaime's feeling a bit unsure about meeting the milestone in the set timeframe?

It can be done for sure! There used to be that show on tv where people who had struggled for years with taking comfort in food were able to channel their need for feel good fixes into exercise and form new habits. But guess changing habits is hard for everybody - guess it's easy to not have the healthiest eating habits when there's so much yummy food for sale on every corner. Have made attempts to eat healthier in the past - like used to drink a diet coke a day, and even trying to give that up took me over a year Also tried eating more vegetables for a month, and found myself dreaming of burgers and steaks at night lol


Guess this should be an interesting sidebet to follow, with the $ at stake, and then to see someone adopt lifestyle changes.

PS For anybody who has Amazon Prime that doesn't watch a lot of twitch, there's a couple of streamers who are donating 100% of subscription $ to charity - right now guess there's Bill Perkins, and also Timex? Guess maybe that might be a little extra way to get even more value out of the Amazon Prime membership for anyone who hasn't been using their monthly free channel subscription ... it's a chance to give money to charity?

Only way this gonna be succesfull is they both hire professionals to help them. And still chubby needs to lose like allmost 100kg and the smaller one gain probably 20-30kg and that aint easy either. He doesnt look like a guy who gains muscle easily and (i hope) getting fat is not an option.

i guess they are around 170 cm / 5'7, that Kevin Martin dude was waay taller and he doesnt seem to be extra tall either based on big brother.

all in all it's a very fun sidebet, even a lose could be a win for the Staples if they do it clever. health is 1st.

The problem for Staples to win this bet is that in order to lose a huge amount of weight in a year, not only will he have to revolutionize his diet will also require serious amounts of exercise in order to lose a 3-4 pounds a week / every week.

Now being a professional streamer means 5-6 days a week, 10+ hrs sitting in front of the computer. Add in all the stuff Stars asks him to do, his YouTube channel, meetings with contractors / sponsors etc etc etc, he already struggles to fit everything in.

So in reality he has to quit being a professional streamer and dedicate a year of his life getting fit to win $150k.

Now, I am presuming Stars pay him quite well plus sponsors and the liklihood if he goes away from Twitch for a year very hard to get that audience back, so all in all $150k might be -EV compared to current and future earnings from being a full time streamer / youtuber / stars sponsored player.
