Trickett collusion tweet? Trickett collusion tweet?

Interesting tweet from Sam Trickett:"Thats annoying!!!My horse opens and I have AA so I can't 3 bet,cuz I don't Wna bust him, haha! Then ignored my gut and stacked off on Q52ss."

It prompted this response from Mike Matusow:"not wanting to bust a guy you stake is called colusion please undertand that especially when u got aa u got to play hard."

Don't think Trickett was being serious but thought he should have thought about how it might look to others especially considering they were deep in the tourney-English poker Open.

though im guessing the tweet was supposed to be a joke.

hard to say tho i always thought he had a sort of stupified look on his face. like maybe he doesn't quite know the hand ranks and it makes him a bit tricky to play against.

Is he joking or is it simply a bit humorous that he can't 3-bet because he would risk busting his horse.

Non-rhetorical question: If you were attempting to softplay someone when you had AA, wouldn't flatting a raise and then stacking off on the flop be the worst idea possible?

I don't know much about collusion, which is why I ask, but it seems 3betting pre, folding pre or check-calling every street make way more sense from a 'I don't want to bust my horse' point of view?

If he had said "because he's my horse", it would be different. A player can want to keep another player alive at the table for all sorts of reasons.

Well, that's how a politician would explain his way out of it, anyway.

They were near the bubble, Trickett felt he wasn't going to get value from a 3bet, so he flatcalled and lost the hand.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Nobody ever accused Sam Trickett of being a collusion expert. Really need Men the Master's input on this one.

Yeah, the tweet doesn't make a great deal of sense. A bit of twerbal diarrhea, maybe?

Anyone that thinks that there's zero chance that he colluded is too big of an imbecile to argue.

If Trickett really was colluding, if he really wanted to keep his horse alive at all cost, wouldn't he just make a big raise, perhaps even shove with aces (and perhaps not tweet about afterwards)?

If you don't want to bust somebody, how does flatting his raise with aces make any kind of sense?
