Not so hilarious. I know an old man that is in his early 70s that used to work for a crime family out of Detroit. He spent 20+ years in the Federal pen. He is big and still strong as an ox. He has a grip that can crush. I have seen him bring 20 to 30 year olds to their knees by squeezing their hands. Imagine a hand like that around your throat.
Never underestimate someone because they're old. Doing so could lead to serious injury. A few years back some punk decided he was going to jack a poker game at a VFW hall in Houston. He went in armed and left dead. Some old Korean and Vietnam war vets took him out. They were old, but deadly.
Young people these days have no respect. They equate old to weak. That is until they run into the wrong old person and get an education. I can think of at least a dozen guys over the age of 65 (mostly ex-cons or war vets) that I play poker with here in Texas and Louisiana that would have no problem taking someone out. The point is, be careful who you screw with, it might be the biggest mistake of your life.
I'm 45 and knew this as a teen. Overcome that flaw in your upbringing and have some respect for the elderly. Avoid the embarassment of having to tell your friends that you got your butt whipped by a senior citizen.
