No clue what level you're on. But obviously having money tied up in this thing is generally a horrible situation.

I know this because not only do I have 5figs tied up on FTP, but I had to make critical decisions on my tax filings when I was not filing as a professional.

Of course I could use my FTP money, as all of us want to, but
TD and PG owe us nothing, and holding them to their bet, word, or whatever it was is completely misguided.

I have ~50k in my account and maybe ~7k of pieces all locked up. FTP was my major income source for two years. Since BF I've sold my car to keep up with liabilities. I know how horrible this whole debacle is and I have a great amount of sympathy for everyone with considerable $$ stuck.

My comment was directed at the 'legit reputation on 2+2' statement. Who cares how many posts someone has or how 'credible' they are or the worst of all 'their join date'. I find these statements so tilting it is unbelievable.

legit rep, in this case means, like, who you are. if you're trustworthy, your name and your word carries value for credit that may be worth substantial amounts of money (see: hsnl, the marketplace, or maybe the sportsbetting forum).

if someone is gonna get someone to send 20k first in a swap, it's because of who he is. same with booking bets on here, or soliciting stakes. it's not at all about undertitles and join dates and post counts.

In fairness, aggo did not measure "legit" by the number of posts a person has or when he/she joined.

don't think anyone was asking them to guarantee 1m, but now that they have, they can't really back out IMO even if deciding a way to pay fairly is a complete mess

actually, i think the way they should pay out is to give 6 months living expenses for guys to move out of the country who werent able to.

they can hire some PA to go through the info for a small percentage of the combined 2m, and just get guys to send in their passports as well as previous tax returns proving theyre a pro gambler

well, they could give it to bustos like yourself who would have lost it anyway, but i think guys who were pros that weren't liquid enough to move out of the country were most affected/deserving of some help

Their promise was to pay all the poker players and not just US players.
