Tom was very relevant online and on 2+2 from 2005 or so, however he did not make his TV debut and gain stardom until HSP season 5 in 2008.

What I find ridiculous is that there is probably quite a few people on 2p2 who have a decent idea of what's going on, jungle included. I don't understand why jungle has been so quiet for such a long time, maybe someone is paying him to keep his mouth shut? I don't really see how that's fair on the rest of the community who have placed bets on the outcome of the challenge. The bets was placed on the assumption that there was judges in place to stop things like this happening, reputable high stake poker players in Ike and Bonomo.

Wether dwan is in debt or not, be good to know if there is any kind of plan to play the challenge (which would be crazy considering dwan hasn't played online in a couple years, let alone play HU vs one of the best in the world) if not then it wouldn't be difficult for him to make a short statement apologising to the community/his "friends" who placed bets on him and that he was going to buy out.

Jungle said in an interview (chicagojoey podcast) he was communicating with him but through his friends. I mean how difficult can it be in answering a phone call or replying to a text message?

lol dude, if you have information about one of the biggest criminal organisations in the world, the last thing you do is talk about it, ESPECIALLY to appease some poker community.

People like this dont let debts go unpaid with out consequence. Its bad for business.

I don't know if I remember this 100% but I thought Jungleman was saying stuff like yeah he could release more info on dwan, and he might - but he was going to give it some more time first to see if there was any movement on the situation.

To be fair must be a year since stuff like that was being said

I have heard from a very reputable source that Dwan actually won a Triad leaders district in a hu match. We haven't seen him because he's a Triad shot caller now, obviously he can't be awkwardly wandering around casions considering all the heat on him these days.

I'm sure a statement from dwan saying "I plan on making this right and completing the challenge ASAP" or "I'm going to look to buy out of the challenge as completing it isn't in my best interest atm" would do fine.

If he is in fact busto and being staked by shady businessmen then promising to pay jungle fines when he doesn't play x amount of hands a month is another ridiculous promise on dwans part. How many bad life decisions can he continue to make? The fines if they are in fact in play will probably be close to the 1.5million he could have bought out for by now.
