Totally thought the same thing randomly one night a few months ago while reading threw this aids-worthy thread. Like you, I remember thinking "well if he's really that deep in debt somehow It's def an idea and probz one he has even considered himself"...The book would be boring. The movie...If done really well (written, directed, acted, style and esthetics & creativity etc) it would be a great movie imo.

It was hubris that destroyed Tom Dwan. His story is a classic Greek tragedy.

It was his one-sided PLO bet against all takers that alerted the Gods it was time to teach the mortal Tom Dwan a lesson in humility.
