The first page for John Kerry never lets me post or like posts. Does this mean they banned me? I notice others can post there. I can post on his 2nd page tho.

It's possible. That first page is supposed to be for people in his district only.

Also, are you using a regular facebook account, or a "page" you created from the account. I haven't quite figured out if that makes a difference, but it might based on some stuff i've encountered in the past when I could still post.

Van Hollen is my rep in MD and is very anti online gambling and poker. I have written several letters to him already. I think he is a lost cause but added my support for 2366 to his facebook page.

zero

Thanks for letting him know how you feel and for mentioning that you're in his district.

Speaking of that, can you go to http://www.facebook.com/CongressmanC...50264219906732 and post something there as well, mentioning that you're a constituent? Thanks!

Some reps block other public pages from users looking at their account. Probably don't want people advertising on their FB page. Between us, we could have gotten quite a bit of free hits if we were spamming a website.

Tuesday's Action: Tell Sen. John Kerry
(D-MA) to Push the Debt Super Committee to Include Online Poker Legislation

Simply click HERE and HERE to post your messages asking Sen. John Kerry to protect our right to play online poker by supporting HR 2366 (please try to get the bill number correct in your posts)! Please "like" the other pro-poker posts there as well.

The last two actions each generated over 100 likes. Let's bump this action to triple digits as well!

====================

Recurring action:Tell the Debt Super Committee to Include Online Poker Legislation

U.S. House and Senate leaders have appointed twelve members of Congress to serve on the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction. This “super committee" is charged with developing policies to reduce the U.S. deficit and then make specific recommendations to Congress which will be voted on. This is a great opportunity for us to make our voices heard. Let's go to their Facebook pages and let them know that we want them to take action on the online poker issue!

The names with an “x” in front of them are those who do not allow direct posting on their Facebook wall. Simply post a comment in response to an appropriate post (i.e., one suitable for a pro-poker comment) already on the page. PLEASE remember to say please and thank you. Courtesy goes a long way.

Let's all also remember to revisit these walls to like the pro-poker posts and comments made since your last visit. Thanks!

Here's the Super Committee:

Yes. Our lobbyists report that many lawmakers have mentioned that they are hearing from a bunch of us via Facebook.

This is making a difference.
