We are getting great traction on Facebook. One excellent benefit is how it shows the ratio of support to opposition for our position for all to see. It's right there in front of the lawmakers' own eyes. Rep. Barton has cited our Facebook posts, so we know it works.

So, let's post pro-poker comments and "like" the pro-poker comments posted by others. Let's divide these up into manageable groups for each day, starting with these nine senators for today:
Recurring actions:

Let's continue to own other Facebook pages, too:
  • The House Financial Services Committee's Facebook page is here.
  • Let's get some posts on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce page (here)
  • The Dept. of Justice's page is here.
  • Senators' FB pages: Senator Facebook Listing
  • We need lots of posts on the issue of poker and lots of "liking" of pro-poker comments.
Let's also all send the PPA pre-written letters to our lawmakers. These will be updated when Rep. Barton's poker bill is introduced to the House (in other words, soon), so let's all get the current letters out before that. Once done, please reply ITT with "done", "sent", etc. to encourage others. Thanks!

Click Buttons to Send Letters in less than 60 seconds:

Finally, let's recruit others. Our personal recommendations of this effort will go far. The daily action plan takes very little time and there's no denying it's way +EV for the time invested. Once done, please post here that you made the request, along with posting your personal commitment to participate in the action plan. I created a short URL for this thread to help with sharing: http://******/takeaction

Thanks!

Done! If we all keep persisting with this, it will resonate with the politicians and general public and begin influencing legality for our cause. In fact, some politicians on Facebook have already begun to realize how unjust and wrong it was to rip away our right to play online poker with our own money. Let's keep at this so eventually it will be too hard to ignore. My best wishes to all American online poker players whose jobs were lost on black friday.

Hit both senator and 'against us' lists, the committee pages, the DOJ page, and liked all comments along the way. I'll hit up those news websites after lunch.

As LL said, please go slower next time. Everyone should take a little time to like all the other poker comments on each page. I found that doing this kept my posting time just right and I had no trouble at all.

Need to make sure to comment on the page and on other pro-poker comments. If you are only liking, you are pretty much guaranteed to get this eventually.
