Re: Thoughts on Boywonder

Too bad mods at twoplustwo can't see IP addresses anymore. Would love to see this douche outed.

Also having read many posts by boywonder he is far from egotistical. He preaches hard work and focus for most of his success and has admitted himself he is uncomfortable at times with how he is viewed. What he says about coaches is 100% true most are way overpriced (although not all) the whole coaching industry in poker is very shady.

As a direct result of his posts he has gotten a video series and people lining up to be coached by him. He has made money from acting the way he has, good marketing isn't a sin.

Also I would imagine he's better than 95% of the coaches who charge a similar rate.

Re: Thoughts on Boywonder

You do have a few good points, but many of the things you have written are not true. Example: he never said that the regs at his stakes play bad. He said most of the regs have a good post flop game, but they don't always play it, due to lack of concentration and/or auto-piloting.

Outing his SN is such a scummy thing to do, though. Pathetic.

Re: Thoughts on Boywonder

Doesn't he state that most MSNL regs have all the poker knowledge they need but have problems maintaining emotional control and therefore don't apply the correct decisions at the table in gametime but if you gave them 5 minutes to think through the hand they would have no problem making the correct play.

In this way he says that all MSNL regs can play a solid poker game (meaning he is no better) but don't apply it as well is gametime (his edge). This seems pretty egoless to me

Re: Thoughts on Boywonder

Outing his SN is also so childish but anyway if he is playing on Ipoker he probably has many SNs like me, I've got about 5.

Also as for him being an attention whore. The guy has made about 3 brag posts in the last 2 years and nearly every other post has to to humbly help every other reg that posts questions

boywonder doesnt look down on people.

If you go back to his brag threads and actually read the thread you will notice he answers questions and give some very good free information to anybody. It doesnt matter if they play $2nl or $1knl, if he felt like he could help he would.

Re: Thoughts on Boywonder

So you're saying someone who crushes mid stakes games for hundreds of thousands of dollars has an ego, and occasionally does stuff that is spewy.

Shocking.

Boywonder just beat you in a pot or something?

LOL OP says I am no sorts a hater, yet he makes a new 2+2 name the same as BW's poker name (suppsedly) because he's too much of a bitch to post this under his original account and writes a huge post full of jealousy.
