i live in England and i have to agree most (9/10) girls here are gross - unattractive, overweight and with high opinions of themselves. Our male coleagues, be it in US or mainland Europe, dont know how lucky they are

Depends what sort of bar it is. In general you'll get more girls than guys in student only places, but more guys than girls in places open to the general public.
