Re: Teddy "IceMan" Monroe sightings?

Played with "the iceman" on Fri night in the Amazon on the 2/5 nl. 1st he short bought for $200 complaining no $$$ on table (most bought in for $500)! Kept reminding us he was the best player on the table/planet. Told us there would be a banner of him on the wall shortly (next to the game's greats).

Proceeded to drop about $600 before being called for 20/40 limit game. Very entertaining and a nice guy to boot.

Re: Teddy "IceMan" Monroe sightings?

man this guy is hilarious
hes a walking (sometimes rolling) level

yesterday he was playing at the 2/5 nl game next to me at the rio
3 people get up
we're in the back of the room and iceman gets up and full on sprints (i was amazed at how fast he was) yelling "yo joe this game needs more players games about to break)
lmao@ at a 2/5 game breaking at 8pm at the rio

the other day i was playing 5 10 25 plo
we were all making fun of the iceman having a great time
we then overheard him arguing with someone in his game and on cue he says "i can go over to the 5 10 25 table right now- do you have any idea how much respect those guys have for my game?" pure comedy

i also got a guy at my table to ask the ice man for a loan
"anytime you want brother you got it just come on by my table"

he was then running his mouth about this big party hes throwing for a book or clothig line or some stupid **** hes trying to sell
he asked a guy at my table for his name and said he would put him on the list
supposedly its at some club and ice man told him " im dropping at least ten grand but you know you need to bring a couple of hundred for the tips"

this guy really helps me from playing stupid
any time i ve been bored and card dead at the rio instead of playing too many hands i just look over at this delusional clown and cant stop laughing

I think I was openly staring at the amazing aura of (fake?) bling that is the iceman because he took off his shades and gave me the evil googly eye.
I heard him say this exact same thing to a cashier as I was cashing out in the window next to him.

+1 to whoever said the dude is a walking level.

Re: Teddy "IceMan" Monroe sightings?

Guess no one interested in the coin flipping scam. Pretty good story. Someone who knows all the details should tell or link. Is he still barred from the Bellagio/MGM?

The man can talk, played with him a few times years back. Only LH plalyer then. Guess he had to try NLH after the coin flip incident. Claimed close to Phil Ivey, who he knew from AC, and said took him under his wing when he was released from prison. Probably not true, but good story. Just hope he can stay out of jail and make a few.

I bet if you ask him it was all a big misunderstanding and had something to do with his being black at the time.

To be sure, he's probably one of the nicest guys in the world if you ever have the chance to meet him.

That is, if you're not on the wrong end of a flatbarrel.

Think of triple range merging, but think a step above that and then take it outside the box.
