lol I do think DNegs is gay. I'll give you that one. (Sorry D, but come on, boo!)

And I also just conceded in the other thread that the wine was a Borgata comp. So it may have been overly generous of me to have said Ice "bought it," lolz.

I don't come on 2+2 much anymore, but I've kinda been enjoying reading **** on here again lately. But because I'm a live player who plays mix/higher-limit, I don't think it's EVER +EV to post nasty **** on here about any player. The player pool is so much smaller in the world of limit poker. Whatever people from that limited pool of players say on here always comes back on them in some kinda way, so I always try to keep it positive on here... And if I'm ever tempted to chime in re who in poker is a DB/scumbag/angle-shooter/cheat/thief, I stop myself and just keep that **** to myself. Most of it's already been said by someone else on here, anyway.

There's a lot of +EV in poker to being known in the rooms as someone who is capable of discretion.

But if I see an honorable or even just affable player maligned on here, I'll speak up because I don't like that ****, and I'd hope someone would do the same were I ever to be on the receiving end of that kind of ****.

Must watch at least first minute of the video.

Eh, if you get to the 20 second mark, you'll make it a minute.

Limit and mix degens play for days at a time on the reg. It's a different illness, perhaps? I have noticed that the better NLHE cash players don't seem to scuzz-out as much as we do, which I admire.

If I've been playing limit poker for more than 36 hours, and then I sign up to play NLHE cash (because my game broke Ted Forrest), the list to get onto whatever table I'm sitting at will be long because they know I've not slept and am in degen-mode, so obv +EV.

Ted has the Sickness, it's true: he will continue to play several-day-long-sessions until dead. Me, too Ted ForrestTed ForrestTed ForrestTed Forrest

it's a lot easier to play limit games on auto pilot when you're half asleep than it is to play nl or plo

So I am eating dinner and surfing around 2+2 and found this... I have not laughed that hard in a long time. I totally forgot about this interview. 100% without question that was the greatest poker interview ever.

Where the heck does Phil get all the energy to talk that much after playing over 100 hours of poker without sleep? He must be a cross-training animal.

It's not like I'm walking away with a limp or anything.

If I remember correctly, the bet allowed a certain amount of time per hour that he could be away from the table which he could "bank" to take a longer break.

So, all the stories, the money lost, the money one, ... all the incredible action.

Does an older great pro hold up and deserve the respect today similar to an older great athlete who can't play, win, and command respect and fear as well as he once did?

When it comes to the great Ted Forrest it would be an absolute yes for me.

But yeah, Phil was pretty good too.
