I've been doing a lot of research and interviews about poker robberies, especially in Texas. Maybe there will be something about that on the web next week.

My premise is that poker robberies are more dangerous now than in my day. When I was robbed at a big poker game, they had a shotgun and a couple of pistols, but they left fast without taking jewelry, car keys.
There have been both robbers and house men killed in Texas and robberies in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas. This is being cited as reason to legalize poker in Texas. David Sklansky and Doyle Brunson have been robbed in Vegas in recent years. Sklansky has a great quote about how to act when being robbed.
