Re: Superusers and Silence: How UltimateBet let players get cheated for millions

Excellent job. Someone should print a bunch of these and hand them out at the Rio.

I can only imagine how pissed the high stakes players that got cheated out of thousands upon thousands are. I hope every one of those crooks meet a slow, painful, untimely death.

This is a pretty damn good idea. Especially since Phil and Annie and whatever other pros that UB sponsors are sure to be strutting around in their UB gear.

Re: Superusers and Silence: How UltimateBet let players get cheated for millions

After the whole AP scandal this is just ****ing ridiculous to have happen. Someone needs to straight up pay with their life, whether in jail or worse. To steal this much money from gamblers is just insane. 30 years ago this type of theft/robbery would result in a body being found shortly thereafter.

Just wow.

thanks for this report, I really this should make online poker players be wary!

Will anyone approach Phil Hellmuth on this topic.

Re: Superusers and Silence: How UltimateBet let players get cheated for millions

Looking at the potripper clips again, I realized just how awful he was in terms of understanding anything about poker or cheating. There was a hand where somebody directly to his right raised with KQ, he called with K2, while somebody else left to act had like A2 and another with 1010 ready to push them all off. He was making so many incorrect limps and calls of raises even WHILE seeing what everybody had. Just astounding.

This really makes me want to stop playing online at all. For every dozen accounts playing with massive winrates, how many more intelligent accounts are there that are using it to get a long term undetectable edge.

The multiple account thing leads me to beleive there is an inherant problem with the sites security, they may of been compromised due to shoddy coding and security.

I feel so sick.

EDIT: Thank you VERY much for the summary, I had seen the thread already in HSNL, but, well, there's a LOT in there.

duh, no major poker site would take part in and/or cover-up cheating - it's in their best interest to run a straight game
