Anyone?

This is the only solution right?

$1000 in 36 days is $28 per day, something I'd seriously struggle with. And I'm a big eater.

Now imagine doing it not in 36 days, but in 36 hours! Yuck.

There is no surgeon in the US at least would get involved in this type of an angle shoot. Surgical diversion procedures are far from benign and the potential for chronic abdominal problems and scaring is very real. The money would need to be in the several million range to make this worth it and even having on ileostomy would be far from a lock. A colostomy wouldn't even be that big of an edge.

Is there a place called 36 hours? That's the only way I can see this being done.

I can't imagine this being possible... even w\ creative use of the puke.

Maybe if he eats burgers with Jackson's technique... nah... xD

If these are serious questions, you people obviously have no idea how ostomies work. They come at the end of the process after food has been digested by the stomach and the small intestines. Having an ostomy would be of no benefit/advantage whatsoever.

There's no way this is possible without going to a super expensive mcdonalds. This is just simply too much food to consume - $300 on hot foods alone, $50 of which has to be burgers is a lot on its own for 36 hours. I don't think 80% of people could even do that.

Here's a video of a guy eating 25 big macs in 10 minutes... even this is a struggle at the end for a guy who does this for a living:

is ordering nuggets at 4 piece boxes considered "inflated pricing?" Would still only be about 1500 nuggets, so..

this thread needs a larger "read the rules" sign than the player $ transfer thread.

Still, at least it's not as bad as the shortest poker books thread.

Are poker players the only group of people that make these idiotic prop bets?

JHC..

i just had some bacon from jack in the box and it was overcooked, it practically turned to dust. something tells me overcooked bacon will be a factor in this. can't wait to see the angle he figured out!

Don't some mcdonalds charge 50c-$1 for extra mac sauce? I could see someone ordering $100 worth of extra mac sauce but whoever makes the burger is eventually going to reach a cap of how much extra sauce he'll add, ie $100 of mac sauce will produce the same quantity as $50 or even $10 would. Depending on the cook, you might be able to add like $100 worth of price for only a couple thousand calories, if that.

It's angles along this dimension (pay for X, get less than X) that are the only way this guy can win.

Trouble is that you don't lose the salt.

Two rashers of bacon = about 3g salt, four rashers is about a teaspoonful (5.69g).

Potentially 50-100 teaspoons of salt is a fatal dose. That's 50-100x the reccommended daily intake. 100 rashers, dangerous; 200 may be fatal.

That's without the salty fries and burgers.

Bet starts tomorrow at noon, you can follow updates on Twitter at mchamburgler1k.
Keep in mind, this is a bet made amongst friends, while MN might have a legit angle figured out, it isnt going to be having surgery, flying to Dubai or breaking the rules.

His strategy is probably something like this:

Step 1: Take a ton of laxatives
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit.

Also a gofundme fundraiser now.

My name is Mike Noori, and I am a high stakes poker player in Southern California. *I accepted a bet to eat $1,000 worth of McDonalds food in 36 hours. *The bet has garnered a lot of attention, so my*hope is that we can utilize this opportunity to raise money and awareness for hunger problems around the world.

My friend Phong "Turbo" Nguyen, also a poker player, travels to Vietnam every Christmas to buy supplies, food and clothes to give back to the needy there. *Turbo came from Vietnam with nothing, it's his way of giving back.

Every dollar contributed to this campaign will be matched by Turbo, dollar for dollar, up to $20,000.*
Every dollar collected will go to increasing the amount of supplies, food and clothing that is given out this year.

Turbo will be withdrawing the money, added to his match, and then spent by him on supplies this December when he travels to Vietnam. *Every dollar collected will be spent on supplies, clothes and food.

This is not done through an official chairty, this is done directly by Turbo. *So there is a trust factor involved. If you know Turbo and are comfortable donating, it is appreciated.

Thanks!

Help spread the word!

I hit up McDonalds on my way home today, grabbed 2 double cheeseburgers and a medium fries. Afterwards, I felt bloated and disgusted. It cost me about £4.10 ($5.31). I'd have to repeat that order 187 times to get to $1000. Makes me ill just thinking about it.
