I mean it's pretty easy guys, you just have to eat $1000 worth of McDonald's in 36 hours

No, you've got it all wrong. You eat $900 worth in the first hour and then you have 35 hours left for $100.

He would have had a much better chance risking 40k to win 200k in 36 hours by challenging WCG to play 200/400 HUNL and then just win 5 buyins. My strategy would be to win a buyin every 7 hours, leaving me 1 hour to spare. That sounds a lot easier than eating 500 pieces of bacon in an hour but thats just me.

I have wondered if some egg mcmuffins in the mix would help...

Personally, I doubt if I could put down $50 but I am always trying to get the most food for the least bucks and never have tried the least food for the most bucks route.

My emphasis. Mind numbing how out of the loop whacky people can be. But hey, it's the internet
For the thin people who aren't familiar with fast food, like yourself, I suggest going to Mcdonalds and seeing the size of the piece of bacon they give you as compared to the size of the pieces of bacon in this video.

even if he splits it to 12 hours eating 12 hours slepping he still have to comsume about $30 an hour of food for twelve hours a day over three days..

Where can I bet against?

Try the math league, maybe they can figure out WTF you are trying to calculate.

The "strips" of bacon that McDonald's gives you are extremely small (1/4 or less of what most would consider standard size). That may be the key that unlocks this gluttonous puzzle.

Bacon, is there nothing you can't do?

The loser has to donate $1k worth of food to some specific poor village they agreed to that has ~100 people living in it. The village diplomat has said that amount of food would feed those people for 36 days.

Spoiler:

I couldn't do it in 36 days. If motivated by a bet, I would find a way.

With big money on the line, something like a temporary colostomy or an ileostomy might be the way? I don't see anything in the rules that would prevent this type of (very drastic) saver.

Here's a small consideration for Mike Noori. I'd call a few mcdonalds and see how many apple slices they typically carry. They might only have like 100 or less in a store. I did some back of the napkin math (number of happy meals sold per year/ 365 / # of mcdonalds stores), and that equals them selling about 38 happy meals per day per store on average. Apples in the store have a relatively short shelf life. They generally get shipments every 3 days, so they probably wouldn't stock too many in a given store. This would also likely apply to pretty much everything you might want to order $1k of. It might be worth planning some routes in advance to multiple mcdonalds if you live somewhere where there's not 10 mcdonalds in a 2 square mile radius.

Can he use a Vitamix blender? Blending the apples, with salad and water is an efficient way to put it down quickly. More time for the body to process it

He won't make it 12 hours before he taps.
He doesn't have enough skin in the game.
He's put up like 1k. Gets only 5k.
