there is absolutely zero chance he will win this without dying. He'd be better off moving to the UK to do the bet. $1000 worth of Macdonalds in the UK is way less food than in the USA

Except he can't. Did you read the rules?

Seems like a lot of time and expense to just make a slightly better run at a bet that he'd still lose.
Not that it's allowed under the terms of the bet anyway.

There's been some discussion of that as well. It's the reason why, even without the hot food requirement, the bet wouldn't be winnable with salad or apple slices as well - just too much ****ing food. Not sure about hamburgers; hasn't been especially relevant since the calories alone make it seem unachievable already.
3 meals what are you talking about? easily win? why would sleeping help? your metabolism slows down while you sleep. sleeping is a terrible idea for this bet.
100 percent disagree, I would do this in 3 intervals over 3 days over 36 hours. I would go about my day with a fair amount of exercise and then around 10 PM I would start and hammer out 1/3 of the challenge.
Head to bed about 12 AM and wakeup and exercize and smash more , go about my day and then maybe smash some more around 10 PM again.
Around Midnight this leaves at 26 hours into the challenge. back to bed and wake up and finish it off

You sound very lazy, but who knows maybe he will spend a decent percentage of the challenge's 36 hours sleeping as you recommend. If it was me, I would spend it eating, walking and eating, and pooping (and maybe walking and pooping).

It's not about being lazy, I think sleeping will help the body recover from
outdoor exercise in hot Arizona and will allow his stomach some rest so he does not hit a major wall.
I just think sitting down for 36 hours and trying to do this would make it so much more difficult unless he has a trick up his sleave that makes this very very easy to win
Why do you guys keep on trying to make schedules for how to eat an amount which is absolutely impossible to eat? It's like having a serious discussion over what is the best way to drive from LA to NYC in 4 hours
"I think I'd do it in four 1hr steps"
"Nah man just do the whole drive at once and have it over with"

Because it isn't impossible. A few customized burgers and ~850 pieces of bacon gets him there. Its definitely possible to eat hundreds of pieces of bacon before throwing up. This guy ate 182 pieces of bacon in 5 minutes
you jam down 500 pieces of bacon in the first hour, throw up, and then you a piece of bacon every ten minutes for the rest of the time, with a few burgers thrown in. Definitely not healthy but not impossible.
Depending on the site, I've found estimates of 45-90 calories per serving, and around 10 g in weight. Almost 19 pounds of bacon, coming in at 38-76,000 calories - piece of cake!

Except the calories are irrelevant for the pieces you puke out. If the rules don't specify it you could ask for the bacon "well done" too which would cook even more of the fat out of it and make it smaller in volume.

Matt Stonie who ate that bacon is like a top 3 speed eater in the world. Why are you even mentioning what he is doing? When people say you can't run a mile in three minutes is your reply to that that Usain Bolt runs 100m in less than 10 seconds?
"A few customized burgers and ~850 pieces of bacon gets him there." Jesus ****ing christ you just write things without any reflection, don't you?
"you jam down 500 pieces of bacon in the first hour" lmao

I would expect that's true, for the most part.

Yes, but I don't expect the difference would be dramatic.
Regardless, I don't see 19 pounds of bacon as being a path to success here, even with your strategy of "jam[ming] down" 11 pounds of bacon within the first hour.
There's a video of LA Beast trying and failing to eat a ton of bacon, not going to do the math but he came nowhere near the amount needed to win this challenge, and he's a very good competitive eater.

Hey man, Frenbar has the solution, the guy doing the bet is just going to eat three of those piles of bacon in that video in an hour and he's all set. Because **** logic, pigs fly. Who cares if world record holding competitive eaters can't even touch it? We don't need reasonable, we just need words strung together randomly in sentences!

My emphasis. Mind numbing how out of the loop whacky people can be. But hey, it's the internet
