Would be great to see a video of him trying to order any planned strategy.

Could I have 20 four piece chicken nuggets?

Ok that was 4 20 piece nuggets, would you like an apple pie with that today?

In the movie, Super Size Me, where the director had to eat only McDonalds for 30 days he said he spent appx. $800 on meals which equated to 150,000 calories.

Definitely not doable, but the Guinness Book of World Records should be contacted just in case.

The guy in Super Size me had liver failure or was close to having it from all food he was eating. I believe mcdonalds made some changes after the film but it could still happen.

The "Supersize Me" movie is a sham and full of lies (I would suggest anyone who watched it to also watch the documentary "Fat Head" in which Supersize Me is put under some pretty legit scrutiny), but the above post mentioning it does make a legit point: This bet is, again, hilariously mis-lined $$$-wise.

"Large" in the US is prolly bigger than "Supersize" would be in another country of the world.

McDonalds drink sizes in Europe:
Small: 8.5oz
Medium: 13.5oz
Large: 17oz

Mc Donalds drink sizes in the US:
Small: 16oz
Medium: 21oz
Large: 30oz

So the small drink in the US is basically the same size as the large drink in Europe.

Would a McDonalds store be allowed to serve somebody that much food? Are there any waivers McDonalds might make you sign to attempt such a challenge?

Are you seriously asking if a person is allowed to buy unlimited amounts of foods from a food outlet? What the actual **** lol.

"I'm sorry sir, I know you're an adult person but I am not allowed to sell you these 100 hamburgers"

You're forgetting the ice they put in U.S. drinks and the ice they don't put in for Europe.

^^With the culture of lawsuits in this country, it's not that crazy of a question. Some managers may not want to be complicit in this bet because of bad press and a possible lawsuit if something goes wrong.

'I'm sorry sir, I know you're an adult but I am not allowed to sell you alcohol because you are intoxicated' is the law.

They put ice in drinks in Europe and there are no free refills in most McDonalds (or anywhere else for that matter).

Mcdonalds would never deny anyone food. For all they know it could be catering for a party. There is no lawsuit here.

I am forgetting from my time in europe but do they really not ice drinks? lol.

So they would continue serving somebody in the hypothetical case of said person sitting in their restaurant for 36 hours, eating non-stop, having puked already and clearly showing the effects of all that food?

We ice drinks in Europe, yes.
The difference is that, because we don't have free refills, we won't accept a cup with 75% ice.
We fit the same amount of coke in a regular cup that you get in a big gulp in the US.

If your reasoning to try and justify McDonalds refusing to serve food to someone is by comparing it to a liquor establishment, just please stop.

Have you ever been pulled over by the police and the officer asks you how many hamburgers you've had to eat?

That's great, so he just needs to eat about three of those every hour for 36 hours straight and he's got the bet all locked up

Easy

It's more like one burger every 4 hours for 36 hours? 3 every hour for 36 hours = $10k

lol, ****, my bad. _A lot_ more reasonable. Would be interesting to see a regular human (non competitive eater) take down 10 of those in 36 hrs.

Easy

Well, that's about 3-4 burgers worth of food, so he's still eating about a burger an hour. Seems a lot more doable than all of the other suggestions so far though.

Yeah, I think "one burger every 4 hours" sounds not too bad, but is actually probably not much better than an equivalent amount of small burgs.
