personally, i think that whole "dont snitch" mentality is dumb and don't subscribe to it at all. i agree, its a bunch of b.s and those who practice it (in crime infested, drug ridden, unsafe neighborhoods) are not helping themselves. i did say "if it is not negatively effecting me"
I don't believe boywonder, who's "loyalty" you were questioning for caring about this, dwells down in the micros, so not really sure what the logic is behind this point.
my issue with boywonder is/was.... if you working with/for stox.... should you be the one to drop the bomb ?? maybe i am mistaken and he was making videos for leggo.
Are you really trying to play the sympathy card for a guy who've made millions from this and who won't suffer any repercussions except for a hit to his 2+2/online poker rep as a consequence of being caught?
i dont think nick needs my sympathy. just curious what price has to be paid for the outrage to stop.
i don't play high stakes and am not a part per se of the 2+2 community so, i have no personal stake in this at all. i read the whole thread and find the posts itt interesting.

after further thought, i see that the cloud of collusion still lingers and i guess it will remain until that is resolved. perhaps the outrage is over possible collusion and not so much using multiple accounts. i think/hope that is the case and i did not realize that as much when i wrote my posts itt.
still, if collusion is being accused, i want to see the proof.

personally, i really don't care 1 way or the other but, weren't you employed by stoxpoker ?? if so, who taught you about loyalty ??

Bernie Madoff had employees too. Are you suggesting they should remain loyal to him?

When I saw this at first I thought LOL, then I thought you might be serious. Townsend has been asked repeatedly for proof of his "donation". I don't recall ever seeing any proof of this. It was just a suggestion by Lee Jones when he was with CardRunners if I remember correctly.

The accounts that he just admitted to have been linked to several collusion accusations in the past.
Are you suggesting we don't even look into this?

my whole thing is this, how are these poker sites not catching scumbags like this guy? me thinks ftp, pokerstars etc allow high roller players to multi account until they get heat from their other good faith users.

That pretty much sums up the entire problem. Full Tilt right now has 62,758 players on their site. Of those how many are affiliated with the company, 100, 1000? And how hard is it to track those players? They are representatives of the company, some are in effect employees of the brand. There is supposed to be some sort of oversight in all businesses, yet these small % of players are somehow excluded from the rigorous security some new player who deposits $100 is.

I really don't think that's true. I think they've been around long enough to know how to do it without making it completely obvious to the sites.
In fact, I think it's the exact opposite due to the bad example it sets for the people that look up to them. In addition, I would guess that the sites don't want to lose them as a customer so it puts them in a really bad spot.

but to me that's a pretty unacceptable answer. the bottom line is that they need to have one policy for everyone and that's it. and if they are going to make special exceptions then disclose the screen names of the mutli accounters so we can all stay clear.

When somebody new creates more than one account, it's normally done in a way that's obvious because they don't know that it's wrong. The sites don't ban them for this. They inform the person of the rules and force them to play on their original account.
Repeat offenders and people attempting to cheat are usually banned. I think there is one set policy.

I can't believe the outrage about him using several nicknames. He is named Nick for Christs sake.

Re: Stoxtrader Responds To Cheating Allegations In HSNL Forum
usually the "discussion" goes like this:
retard: "@°°#¬°|§ double standards, why do they treat pros and other people i'm jealous of differently than the avarage joe? f**** <random poker site>
answer: "no not true, you can do the same thing and you will only get a warning"
retard: "wtf, you wanna tell me it's ok because other people are doing it?"

Re: Stoxtrader Responds To Cheating Allegations In HSNL Forum
A better question is: Should there be a different set of rules for those who do/should/probably know better?
It's obviously so much worse for a HS reg to do it compared to a new player.
Also, props to the NVG mods for not digging their eyeballs out with a spoon after reading all the stupid.

Don't wanna post this in the hsnl thread because it's starting to look like nvg already so I'll say it here.
