Welcome. Thanks for posting. I'm always glad to see another American business invest in online gaming. The more support for regulated American based online poker that comes from potential large donors to politicians the better. I will definitely support any B&M establishment with my money that supports the online game. The synergy potential is fantastic.

Following in Joe's footsteps, I'd like to introduce myself as well. I'm on the technical side of Ultimate Gaming and the original architect & developer of the Ultimate Poker software. I'm looking forward to the insightful, constructive, and even the brutally honest input of the 2+2 community. The product today is only the start of what we have planned, and there will of course be some issues along the way. But we really are committed to making it a product that our customers love.

I've been a poker player for about 23 years, starting in the Bay Area cardrooms. I'm in Las Vegas now and you can sometimes find me playing the $3/$6 mixed game at the Imperial Palace on Sunday nights. (At least until it shuts down due to the big construction project.)

I'm also the one who made the statement in the press that we're trying to create a more authentic poker environment, and I'm happy to discuss more what I meant by that. I apologize if it didn't come across the way it was intended. Basically, we want our product to appeal to people who take the game seriously.

I want your product to appeal to those that don't take poker seriously.

Heh...I loved that show. Sleazy table at the back of the sleazy plaza downtown ...what was the average prize money for 1st?...30K or something? I think the mega winner was something like 100K...maybe Professionalpoker can chime in here. I don't recall the details...seems like so long ago.
