he always said that he had some High stakes regs that were friends to him, i feel this is part of the lies that he pulls so people trust him econopmically. he told me he was friend with ansky, greg merson, joe, high mtt(superhighrollers stuff), etc.. (he told me today that he isnt friend with ansky, just casual talk.)

Not friends with him, we spoke on skype a handful of times, mostly about nonsense. Know nothing about his identity.

if only buddy hadn't snapped him off with deuces he would've binked that tourney and had the money to pay you!

he has always come off as likable on streams, i guess good scammers have a knack for being likable. hope he at least attempts to make good on his loans, though i guess it's not likely.

situation sucks. hope you get your money back alexo.

does he actually live in cambridge, on? we can send a team of hitters to his house to dummy him.

A lot of HSPLO players treated him like he belonged in the community. Seems like this could have been prevented. This is exactly how these type of scammers operate. Draw attention to themselves, build up a reputation in the community quickly. Pretty soon, someone will come along and think they really belong to the community and trust them.

In the future, if someone is trying to fit in to a high stakes poker community, but they don't play high stakes, be very suspicious guys. Gl Alexo.

He told me he got a backer for playing WCOOP, but then he told me he didnt play much events (only ME i think so).

On topic with regards to the whole dynamic between alexo and SRP, of that which many people have come to flame alexo for giving SRP money on multiple occasions.

joey how long have you known SRP? also if you had suspicions he was a scammer why would you not tell alexo?

89blist rocking up and posting a 'one off' comment in this thread is pretty ****ing weird. He is the chap posting as XBlink in the thread a few years back and, to my knowledge, hasn't been active on this site for a while. I would definitely question the integrity of this post.

Everyone involved who is posting about xwink needs to check this 2+2 user out (not TheCooler101 but 89blist) Honestly, this guy claimed to be xblink/xwink and was pretty convincing about it. From my experience (no offence xblink) but he was terrible at poker (in particular omaha) and would have definitely lost all the money he won on UB at stars/FTP in the long run.

You have a valid point bluffer, but I still think it's still pretty weird... Xblink was a random poster who won a **** load of money and then disappeared into 'thin air'. The 2+2 community is big enough that someone would know what he/she is currently doing and have piped up.
