your volume. once its determined, you need 4 chest of 1 kind in 24 hour (eastern time) to upgrade to the next chest

you get x2 points for x amount of points. when you finish your boost, you will get a new one in 8 hours

are chests earned in proportion to their EV? i can't find anything about this on the stars FAQ

like would i be getting more value by playing a ton 1 day a week, as opposed to the same amount spread out throughout the week?

The main difference is that you'll be using fewer boosts a week (or mere 75-point boosts on weekdays when your chests are red) if you grind only 1 day a week, so your RB% will be somewhat lower than if you used 14 big boosts a week. If there were no boosts, then yes, the RB% would be about the same no matter the chest colour.

I'd like to know what people think that just start out with pokerstars and did not even knew, rakeback exists. Are they cool with it that you can get something back and even 1k or do they think they should get more?

The more rake you pay, the higher chest type you get. Unless you stop for 3 days or something and start again.

Yep. The problem is always with losing regs. I think one that just complained here is a z16 "reg".

Bodog's thread is filled with losing regs complaining about the rakeback, while people are paying enormous amounts of money to rent accounts from abroad to play in their midstakes games.

Meanwhile i would pay 200$ a month in fees to pokerstars if the games could go back to what they were 7 years ago.

I posted it like a month ago, took a while but stars gets the job done.

I asked for a clarification and got this:

You can move up or down the Chest types based on your *last* completed progress bars.

- If the four bars all have the same completion day and are of the same type, you move up a Chest level. Your 4th progress bar in a calendar day will be blue to indicate you can move up to the next Chest if you complete the progress bar by the end of the day.

- If at least two progress bars have the same completion day, you will remain on your current Chest level.

- If the last three progress bars have different completion days, you move down a Chest level.

This process applies for all Chest types, except you cannot downgrade below Chest type 1 and you cannot upgrade beyond Chest type 6.

I got 42 coins from my next red chest, I get what you mean now.

My red chests do take 240 points to reach but all my boosts are still 45 though. I've yet to see a 75 boost after 8 red chests.

I'll tell you what happened...

I arrived home in the evening and went to bed, then played a session on Stars the next day.
500 hands at normal stakes, nothing special.

All of a sudden, my account is locked and I am being accused with violating terms.
I had not even played online poker in a month and did nothing different yesterday, so how can you possibly think I am cheating?

So I email Stars and they are acting shady as fuc k. Barely replying, not answering questions, refusing to call me etc.

Then, I see that in my Party Poker thread, fuc k face jesusdied4urquads had been making screenshots of me when I streamed. I had some kind of PT4 bug that added some weird stripes on my screen.

I assume someone showed Stars support tha, and this makes me a cheater?
Nevermind that I play quickly but don't play massive amounts of reg games vs crushers. Yeah, a random bugs means everything.
And if I were somehow cheating, do you really think I would turn that software on when my screen is being recorded?

Well, i guess if it would only have been a PT4-bug your account on Stars wouldn't have been banned as certainly other PT4-users would have experienced similar "weird stripes".

Who knows. I updated PT4 when I came back and the problem was gone.
Maybe it was TN or Star shelper, I don't know for sure.

The program Mixgrill is using is some sort of screenscrapper that let you creat input for some programs in real time . What he used the info for (e.g. some sort of in game solver) that would give you in game advice is open question.

Look at each highlighted area by the program Mixgrill uses (community cards,cards-so who is the pot, pot size blinds etc etc.) so basically scrapping for all the info for something (we don't know for what)

Basically he was trying to get the same data bots get to be able to make real time decisions (Stars+HM let you read hand histories after the hand so useless for it). How he used the output is an open question.


And BTW Mixgrill you cheated you got caught because of your own mistake. At least own it now instead of playing dumb.

Anyway I think mods should clean the thread off the off top maybe someone could create a thread about it e.g. high stakes crusher banned on P* or whatever. It doesn't belong here.
