I'm trying to do research on what it was like playing poker in the first days of the WSOP on through the early 80's as well as any details about the atmosphere in general

Like whether there was cheating, mark cards, threats of violence as well as any interesting scenarios, stories, players and anecdotes, etc

I'm especially interested in any stories about Anthony Spilotro (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Spilotro) and how he shook down the players, cheated, his various crimes and influence on Vegas, etc.

Any info regarding any other mob influences would be very helpful as well.
