Re: SNG Glitch on Stars

So you don't think there was some chat during the match, some AIM connection, whatever? Just screaming BS!!! is retarded, we probably know approx. 40% of the story here.

Re: SNG Glitch on Stars

I missed that Stars mail. Wtf, this is sketchy as hell.
I just lost a huge amount of respect for them, did a Stars rep reply to that in the zoo?

Re: SNG Glitch on Stars

Rokdafunk is supernova elite.

He plays huge numbers of heads up sngs (probably averages 50 a day).

I would say there is < 1% chance he abused this glitch knowingly.

Re: SNG Glitch on Stars

Just a thought from a stupid NVGtard, but assuming that [insert high stakess poker player here's] opponent always had the money in his account to play, is there a chance he doesnt get refunded? This assumes stars cancels all games where one player has insufficient funds for the buyin. Maybe I'm being stupid.

"We have become aware of a situation which allowed players with a zero balance to rematch in Heads Up Sit’n’Go tournaments.

Your account was identified as being one of these accounts."

FWIW it should say playing against one of those accounts rather than being one of those accounts. Seems like a poorly thought out email.

The way they handle this will make people love them or have them. They should understand that the whole thing was THEIR f up, and therefore cover for all the losses that the gitch caused unless they can proove BOTH players were abusing the glitch.
Face it, every other client would react in the exact same way.

Re: SNG Glitch on Stars

If Stars don't repay the regular players who lost to the abusers they will be making money out this bug.

Which would be pretty amazing.

Well it makes "good thin i dont play on stars anyway" pretty dumb.

I mean i dont think its ok at all, but id bet FTP, let alone shady sites like ongame and UB, would find a way to make a worse decision.

Yeah, this is a ridic outcome to happen. It turns one programming error into freerolling your most valued customers. You regs need to send an email to someone high up in the company with wording agreed by you all that youre unwilling to accept this outcome and you will be unable to guarantee your future play at the site.

Assuming a reg is not involved has to be the default position without evidence here and if they are not involved and they have no ability to police the games how can they ever be at fault.

This would be like if UB caught the superusers, and then confiscated more money from the accounts of the high stakes regs that the cheaters played with, because they were in the same games.

Wow pokerstars, I didn't know that you had it in you....

Re: SNG Glitch on Stars

I am a 10 & 20 regular who had my account suspended earlier today. I have hundreds of buyins for these stakes and my account balance has never been near 0 nor did I play & rematch any person shoving continuously against me, I did however play donks and as rokdafunk claims it is their fault anyway. It is very hard to tell the difference between an abuser and a donk.

Suspending my account when it is clear I did nothing wrong is absolutely terrible imo and something I would expect from UB/AP.

Re: SNG Glitch on Stars

Wow this is so douchey of stars. I'm thinking of pulling my money out and stopping play to play at FT if this doesn't get resolved. I didn't have any part of this but i've been screwed over in the past by casinos who "freeroll" on your money in situations like this and i wont stand for it. If they made the mistake they have to eat it unless they can prove you knowingly abused it.

Re: SNG Glitch on Stars

Relax guy's iam sure stars only confiscated the $ to avoid those $ get cashed out....I am confident that they will handle this mather fair for every player, just give them some time to check all the HH's etc.Stars got a little glitch before and in that case all players could keep the funds(note:nobody abused something there,or maybe they did by playing more tables then they usualy did but anyway all could keep the money)

P.S by fair i mean that the regulars get refunded if needed but in case the regular "won" its only normal to see his winnings been confiscated as well.So its a 0 operation for all players.

I think we can safely say you didnt play HU sngs during this period, your account hasnt been locked and you will not have any $ taken from you.

Thanks for the sound advice though, its nice to be reassured

Re: SNG Glitch on Stars

Iff i am correct you the only account so far who is suspended in this thread....in case of the others its only funds confiscated....even the 2 guy's(friends of Buildinsweaters) who staged it very well are still up and playing...i dont see how you can stage this very well anyway but lets assume they smarter then me....Feel free to give up your stars SN it smells like you did try to abuse it big time and forgive me if i am wrong but you can prove this easy with give up your SN.

ANYWAY its clear that if you did nothing wrong you dont need to panic,My account is been closed under investigation before and tough its frustrating i never was afraid it would be permanent just for the simple fact that i am legit.

OOO you wana keep the $ as well you won off players with no money?Well maybe you can keep them if stars find out you really wasn aware of nothing but i doubt you didnt and thats prob the reason your account is suspended....really forgive me iff iam wrong i will excuse a 100 time if thats the case,i just saw to many people who get angry for suspended accounts etc. telling only half the story.
