SNG Glitch on Stars

Just read about this on the heads up forum..

There was a software glitch on stars sngs which meant if you played a heads up sng on stars you could accept a rematch even though you didn't have enough money in your account to pay for it.

Guys never seen before playing 5k heads up matches.

Stars must have lost millions.

Cross post from Internet poker, I guessed the NVG crew might be interested in this too..

Interesting bug. Sad i missed it. I guess you'd only find it if you were busto and shared it with a rich friend.

How would you feel if you were a genuine player and played against a guy who just dumped his chips to you.

Then stars took the money from your account.

It will be tough in some cases to sort out the fraudulent players from the genuine ones.

Yea but it seems like the abuser is playing the same opponent all the time? At least the sngs I checked. So thats definately fishy.

Re: SNG Glitch on Stars

If the abusing player didn't have the buy-in in their account the genuine player should not be entitled to that money.

This guy was far from the only player who got in on this.

What if you aren't an abuser?

You are a regular player who played and beat a fish, he accepted your rematch and kept on losing. Why should someone who was not knowingly cheating lose what they won?

1.) Return all the buyins to the players(if they actually paid).
2.) Keep the rake.
3.) Profit??
