wait most of the people in that forum actually seem to have known it was ponzi all along, they are just getting in and then out before it crashes, and hope the cops never track down the $ to them?

Don't worry, it's been reported

they must have got drunk and forgot their stop loss plan->

Playing poker is risky by nature. There are bad beats, unexpected losses, and days when nothing seems to work out. As a result, Poker by Proxy uses a stop loss system to ensure that not more than 5% of the total investment pool is put at risk during any given day. We limit daily losses to 5% of the total investment pool, meaning that you can never lose more than 5% of your investment in one day. This gives you the opportunity to withdraw your investment if you feel that Poker by Proxy is not performing to the level that you would expect. It also makes Poker By Proxy SUBSTANTIALLY safer than playing poker yourself!

I love those guys over there. They are fully aware they are """""""investing""""""" in a Ponzi scheme, but they think it is criminal when they don't get paid. Because it is okay when some gullible guy loses all to this, but when these 'HYIP-experts' lose it is criminal.

As for threatening us with not paying, that's criminal and meaningless since the *******s are not paying anyway.

Anyway I wonder how many of these 'experts' 'invest' in these HYIP-things, and how many gullible folks who think it's for real. I would love it if 100 percent of the 'investors' are those guys from the forums, who are then just basically stealing eachothers money, just to move on to the next Ponzi, to start over.

Wow interesting reads. Lol at the -99% day yesterday, but as said, their response is just incredibly ******ed. E.g. "2) If you send any message requesting that your payment be expedited, your funds will be forfeited. Such messages simply waste everyone's time." - Wow what kind of ****ing baby comes up with that? Truly ****ing mental. And of course gives them a ridiculous out to seize funds guilt-free, while guilting etc the victims, getting less emailed threats, and trying to remove them of obligation to reply back and other things quickly, if at all.

Just wanted to clarify that these known blogs they mention in today's description are all paid because they want to show to their referees that they are indeed "PAYING" when they are not. Some of those hyip listers are paid to invest.

Reading that moneymaking forum I get the feeling that this is what a forum would look like if a mental institute had a internal forum for its patients.

Preaching to these guys isn't really going to go anywhere, they basically compare what they do to stock trading. They know its a scam and that the early investors will receive money from the new investors. It's all about the timing of knowing when to bail.

Reading that thread, and in particular some of the responses to Fish Taco, I'm wondering how many of those posters were shilling for that Poker by Proxy operation. It's an almost Kool-Aid level of devotion. Reminds me of the fake reviews that pop up on Amazon for some book, clearly done by friends of the author. They're just TOO squeaky positive to be real.

apparently they are trying to get back the $$ people withdrew through paypal now.

Interesting development.

Those scammers at Poker By Proxy have instigated a dispute with PayPal over my last withdrawal saying that they never got the goods they paid for!

So, not only have they stolen the money in our accounts, they are trying to get withdrawals refunded from PayPal.

Indeed, that moneymakergroup site contains some of the biggest idiots in denial that have ever graced the internet.

Interesting side note regarding the videos:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyVzSdK3aY0

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaVt-AFrEWA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-OP24b6JQ4

Two are from "Jack", and the other is by "Kendall".

These are indeed names of people "involved" with Poker By Proxy (at least the names they use when communicating with its victims), but I don't think the guys in the video have anything to do with this.

I believe they are web actors, who were paid to make these messages. You can find people to do this for as little as $5 on sites like fiver.com.

I think it's likely that these web actors had no idea that they were promoting a scam. They probably just thought they were being the American faces of foreign companies trying to market their product.

There are two reasons I believe these guys NOT to actually be involved in the company:

1) They're both American. The people behind Poker By Proxy appear to be non-American by all appearances, including their "backwards" use of the date format.

2) They both speak too well. The average businessman comes off as a doddering fool when he gets in front of the camera to produce marketing videos. These guys seem experienced regarding speaking to the camera and using a pleasant, marketing-friendly tone of voice. It's a lot harder to do this than it appears. "Kendall" also does this in front of a completely white background -- something unlikely to be seen if the video is being produced by amateurs.

If you want some laughs check out this guy called Dr. Lieven van Neste, he is one of those HYIP-scammers. He also promoted PBP, in a super awesome YouTube vid ("they play a half NL, I don't know what that means." Meaning 1/2 NL), and he is just great entertainment value.

I'm wondering... This Pokerbyproxy was an obvious scam, but... Is it possible to make a legit service like this? By someone who already has some horses but not enough networth or something like that?

What´s REALLY funny about this is how the so called pros and geniuses basically posted those doctored "daily reports" and didn´t even worry that they would make themselves look like total amateurs (by quitting winning sessions early on) and nobody called them out for it. This guy actually APPLAUDS the cheats for "wasting" his money by deciding to be lazy/scared instead of pushing for further wins:

Quote:
"We could have kept playing, however we decided that it was best to stop while we were ahead, seeing as 3,45 % is a nice enough profit"

(See "Report" for Sunday 8th September 2013 at 6:27
I would have been pretty pissed as an investor even if the whole scheme had been legit.

I guess it´s clever away because it reflects the mindset of the fish type that would invest in this?
