I like TexasLimitKing's call with 44 against I think 33 on the river.
I recall 33 was the only hand he could beat also.

I am hammered, have no ****ing clue about LHE and have starred at that hand for 10 minutes. Somebody please explain why you call there ? (assuming you are not Potripper)

Either an accidental call or he didn't see the two overpairs. Either way, no way that's intentional.

It was intentional IIRC. It is hard for slim to have a Q or 6 in his hand, most likely he would 3-bet pre with 55+, and any hand with a 2 that he would defend with would become a bluff catcher on that board, so he is likely to have 33.

TLK posted on 2p2 about but I can't remember his screen name and can't find it. Then he disappeared. It was very fishy but iirc he did go on a pretty big downswing at some stage. I was learning more to the misclick side of things. I think he read the board wrong and didn't see the 6 drop on the river. I'm nto sure but I think he snap called the river.

The most talked about hand at the PokerStars NAPT Mohegan Sun Day 1 will probably turn out to be one of the most talked about hands of the whole year, as Faraz "the-toilet" Jaka made an astonishingly sick call on the river.


The hand started with Jaka opening for 2,000 utg and getting called in two places. Flop came As 6c 5s, Jaka continued with 5,200, one player called. Turn 3h, Jaka bet 5,200 again. His opponent thought for a while and made a sloppy call, dropping one of his chips on the floor. River was the Ts, so now there was a possible flush on board. Jaka asked how much his opponent had behind: 9,700, nearly half of Jaka's remaining chips. Jaka checked, and his opponent instantly went all-in.

Jaka looked like he wanted to fold, but eventually he made the call:

Jaka collected the pot with his mighty 9-high while the players around him erupted with cries of "OMG!" and "You are the sickest man alive!"

He's other worldly hence the call. There was a lot of talk of him cheating though as he crushed then (I think) completely disappeared.
