Should Poker allow you to have Managers?? Should Poker allow you to have Managers??

In this scenario every poker player can have 1 person (a manager) to help them make decisions on hands. This manager cannot talk to anyone else during the event but can help his client with poker and/or business decisions.

They can whisper about hands but not leave the table area.

The cost of having a manager...his time, his effort. That must be negotiated between player and his consultant. It could be an even 50/50 profit split. It can be only 10 percent for the manager, or less.

But you must declare who the manager is before a tournament. You cannot add a manager after the tourney starts.

You're an awful poster. Consider posting less.

I think though that it might be worth having someone to manage you as an intimidation thing. If I'm playing and this opponent has a manager it feels like you're being ganged up on. It can work as an intimidation tactic. The manager is staring at your eyes while the opponent watches your hands and body movements.

Uh no. You can get on the phone or rail in 2 seconds after a hand to talk to people about it.

I used to ghost some students on their microstates online sessions but that was purely for educational purposes not for me to help them make every decision for profit. As for live games this is just a ridiculous idea, one player per hand please.. I think it's even pushing it in *some* tag team events where the player involved in a hand can phone a friend so to speak and get their partner over to give advice on a hand in play.

You watch a lot of WWE, huh? Have manager Paul Bearer give an opponent the bug eye look at the table for 5 minutes?
One player per hand dude.
