Some of whom are in town because their hausbands are here for the wsop and this gives them a chance to participate.
and lol @ comparing Agusta National to the wsop which has over 50+ open events.

lol @ comparing WSOP with 50+ open events to the thousands of golf clubs with open memberships...? I don't get it. Why does the same logic not apply to the men who want to congregate exclusively in the company of other men? When women fight to batter down that barrier, it's a righteous blow against discrimination.
How does your "Lighten up" rhetoric not apply here. It's just a country club, seems as trivial as a poker tournament in the term of "constitutional rights".
And I love how it only takes you one sentence to go from "Lol look at all the open events men can play in" to "it takes a segregated event to give these women a chance to participate". What about all the 50+ open events, how can they not participate in that?
"Because they're beginners?"
Then why not replace the illegally discriminatory event with a beginner's event that will get more new blood with less effort? Because Harrah's doesn't really want new players? Because they're being just as shifty about THEIR motivations for holding the event as you claim the men are who are playing in it?
