Re: Shaun Deeb playing the ladies' event? Pictures to come!

Womens only poker events are retarded. Women as a whole are bad at poker (with several exceptions to that statement of course). Half the field was gone within in 4 hours yesterday, need I say more. If women need a "safe" place to learn the game and feel "intimidated" playing with guys perhaps they should try something else. I surf, rock climb, MTB, kayak etc etc and I learned how to do them all from the boys. I, in fact, would never have a women teach me to do any of those thing because women just don't have the aggression factor men do.

The "bracelet" is the ugliest piece of crap I have ever seen and it in itself is extremely condescending. The women's tournament at the WSOP is a giant joke and most of the women pros I talked to only play it because the field is so extremely weak. Also, I would venture to say that it does not in fact bring more women into the game, as it seems that the amount of women entrants in open events is the same amount it was 6 years ago.

Shaun Deeb rocks wife beater too small tank tops like no other. I wish my boobs look that good.

*I am a female. I don't really play poker that much, but I am in the industry and have been for years.

Re: Shaun Deeb playing the ladies' event? Pictures to come!

A women poker pro told me this "

"Well is was all fun and silly and the men were really unhappy. I had a guy at my table. He played bc a friend asked him to. At around level 8-9 a lady from 2 tables over sent a massage over to him.

He looked over to where she was, and went to thank him. As he approached her she slapped him hard. He came back to the table fighting tears. He wouldn't call the floor as he was already so embarrassed. So I did. All at my table saw and confirmed it. Floor just gave her a warning. It was pretty awful."

I love the "equality". A guy would be perma-banned for hitting someone, an old bitch gets a penalty.

OK, I've changed my position. If he was fighting back tears from a slap by an old lady, maybe he should be in the womens event.

I'm not the guys biggest fan but completely agree with Negreanu's vblog on this subject.

Those who can't see the benefits of women only events are being very short-sighted and ignorant.

Um so where do we draw the line, are we going to let guys compete in the Track and Field woman events? The guys that entered this event should not be allowed to play anymore in the WSOP even if your playing for charity.

How about we draw the line at games where a male actually has an inherent advantage over a female, or is that too logical?
