Re: Scandal involving TesasLimitKing on Full tilt poker?

Everyone talks about that 44 hand, the last thing I would do if I was cheating would be to do some stupid **** like that.

Ya but not like we could ever prove anyone is not a superuser... The same could be said for you or me. The truth is there just isn;t any evidence except for one call which in all likely hood was a misclick thinking his pair was good (wasn;t like he called with 34 or 45 which would be much mroe damning).

Provide real evidence and we can talk. Also neverwin seems to think this guy ran like god when in reality it sounds like he ran up a few million then ran off once he started to lose a good chunck of it. Just like neverwin except neverwin never ran off.

Who really cares why? Its pretty ridiculous though for FT not to be able to retrieve HH's from 2006. I got HH's from stars from 2002 and FT doesnt have HH's from 2006? I dont care about the cheating part really but for the second most popular online poker site not to be able to retrive HH's from 3 years back isnt a very good sign dont you think?

THIS is what bothers me. I've come to terms that I'll likely never know for sure, one way or another, whether TLK was cheating. I do, however, believe that FTP should send me my hand histories when requested. It's fairly commonplace in the poker world to ask for these. The whole 'prior to March of 2007' thing just happens to coencide with the time TLK stopped playing on FTP. Is it bizarre? Yes. Is it's a coincidence? Maybe. Regardless, these handhistories should be available to everybody - whether you're a nosebleed player or a micro stakes grinder. It took Pokerstars approx. nine hours to retrieve over 500k hands that I've played on there since 2005. All I'm asking from FTP is the 50k hands of nosebleed games I played from late 2006. When they not only refuse to give the hands to me, but also refuse to give an adequate answer as to why, it can only lead to asking 'why.'

Just FWIW, OPR shows him to have played the FTOPS 3 months ago...

I reckon he made stupider calls than the 44 hand when he played......lets say he made 100 river calls with 3-8 high over a few months...

1 of them was the right call.....and it's the one we're talking about.

True Dat. i test fairly high as well, and in my experience, the higher your IQ the less it matters to you. I find people in 115 - 130 range think they're the smartest people on the planet, once your over 130, you realize how little it matters.

Re: Scandal involving TesasLimitKing on Full tilt poker?

I started playing right before TLK showed up. I railed a lot of the games b/c I was a pooflinger then. Sure he beat up neverwin and degen but ivey got a really good piece and then TLK took some shots at NL for a second. Then I think 10knl was the big game and he got owned. Srsly. Spiritrock and irockhoes destroyed him for a while. Sure he dissapeared and sure neverwin got pwned, but superuser?

I didn't think so then and I don't think so now.

Also I think ftp was a fairly young site then, they may have totally lost millions of hands on record. The customer servuce is horrible but those hands are likely gone forever.

At one point before there was much discussion of collusion by TLK but he played HU mostly so I don't know about that.

It is somewhat disturbing to me, (and I would think anyone who plays on this site) that they are saying they only have or will only send hh's from less than 2 years ago.

However, I have no opinion on TexasLimitKing.

Re: Scandal involving TesasLimitKing on Full tilt poker?

meh. they could have put those hand histories in to storage of some sort that is relatively inaccessible to them. particularly relatively inaccessible to relatively low end support guys. this is pretty reasonable, since they take up a lot of space, and are of zero value to the company at any given point, and if they had some reason (like an audit or investigation they had to comply with) they could get them out. it's fairly reasonable for them to have upgraded servers or storage at some point and just not have easy access to the hhs. just because stars does it one way (and that way is customer friendly) doesn't mean it's totally absurd for a competitor to do it differently. something tells me that in fact, the number of requests that either stars or ft gets for hhs >2 years ago is incredibly small.

Re: Scandal involving TesasLimitKing on Full tilt poker?

I play 2c/5c and $2 sngos and I have all my hand histories...

Seems a bit ridiculous to not save your own HHs if you're playing $500/1000

that doesnt explain why they didn't just say "these HHs are in a storage unit that is inaccessible at the moment" when crain asked why they weren't available...
