Phil Ivey has a bodyguard, and is allowed to bring him to Bobby's Room?? I look forward to finding out who the fight was with and what happened. Sounds like a good story.

Seiver and Ivey currently all smiles in Bobbys room.

Someone just showed me a video. Some black guy squared up to a very VERY big other black guy (similar stature to the dude from white chicks) and the big big dude just throws him to the ground like a rag doll and the other guy gets up and just sits back down hahahaha

I did a search and it says 110 in Las Vegas, and 119 in Death Valley. However, they have air conditioning. Also, it is dry heat. I grew in Washington DC where it would be both temperature and relative humidity in the 90s almost every day in the summer.

117 - yikes!!

Would have expected the steak and pizza to look more appetizing

My favourite part was when they put out the record to show how fast it would melt - and then some do-gooder walked by and put it in the shade so it wouldn't get ruined

I got it! Got photos of and with Mr. Phil Ivey and Mr. Gus Hansen. Brian Rast is in the game too.

I took the photos while I was playing some 5-10NL. It was so great to meet my poker idols from my childhood, the guys who got me interested in poker.

I gained a lot of respect for Hansen, when I approached him in Bobby's Room in the Big Game and asked "Hi Gus, do you mind if I get a photo with you?" he said "No I don't mind at all". He was really happy in fact.

Ivey also was cool, he wished me good luck after I took a photo with him. He did seem cold, not as cheery as Gus.

thanks for the pictures! gus hansen further cementing himself as the coolest cat in poker. you can tell he really loves living life and doesn't let adversity affect him in any other way than making him stronger.
